why: I used these hook because it would make the reader want to know more and want to know what is going to happen by the tittle of the story and by the hook.

I was playing the biggest lacrosse game of my life when suddenly I was passed the ball to score, as I was chasing after the rolling ball my opponent Crushed my foot. I am so irritated! I don’t know how much longer I can live like this.Why did the Coronavirus have to come and mess up everything? Now I can’t go out anywhere, or do anything. This year we were going to go to Cancun, India, and Europe. This would’ve been the best year ever. Instead the Coronavirus decided to come and shut everything down. Right now I’m doing digital learning since schools are not open for the public.

I used a descriptive hook. A descriptive hook is good for my story because my story does not have much action. It's mostly a calm story.

The fish swam quickly, sneaky as a fox with its spotted and scaly exterior, it turned as fast as the speed of light. My cousin Shreya shouted “That’s a spotted bass. Quickly, Aarya be ready to catch it.” I frantically lowered the green short rod with bait on it. (A piece of bread rolled up into a ball). It was a bright sunny day, the murky water was full of plants and tiny fish. It was so hot that I was sweating bullets. It was hard to see the spotted bass because of the murky water. I didn’t even know if it was there anymore.
