After various project exercises and reading over the project breif/aims these are ideas I have been thinking about throughout this self focussed project because it has given me a chance to reflect on how Ive changed as a person and how it has impacted my work . With this piece I think the idea is strongly demonstrated through the contrast in size angle and colour . The small black portrait facing backwards could be interpreted as a younger version of myself where I was less confident and felt restricted which could be linked further the tied back hairstyle and dark use of colour .
