During my last class I learnt about research topic and this has helped me in some ways of research plan and proposal. The research Topic Development is a new initiative that has developed me in how to get know about and search on the project topic to use for my masters project. Also we were introduced to a new mode of learning and submission which is the Padlet app. It's something that's very knowledgeable and well connected to our mental self. Having learning this has Impacted positivity to my levels of understanding ad education ways. Digital marketing empowers businesses by enhancing their online visibility, expanding reach, and driving targeted traffic to their websites. Through strategic utilization of digital marketing channels such as social media, search engines, email, and content marketing, businesses can engage with their target audience effectively, amplify brand awareness, and cultivate customer relationships. Furthermore, digital marketing facilitates precise targeting, personalized messaging, and real-time analytics, enabling businesses to optimize their digital marketing campaigns for maximum ROI and achieve their marketing objectives efficiently.

Moving unto the next agenda with our tutor who brief us on our last week review of what he taught us in class. He then moved to how we get to find our research topic which we were all interested on because of our master project ahead of us when we start our full master program.

During this lectures he asked us all on our area of studies which majority of the student are studying international business and management. He said we should make sure you get to know your research Topic very well in other to go in line with what you studying here in the school.

Progressing to the research topic he made it clear that we should always know the questions needed to be asked when you writing your research Topic, your objectives and aims. He said this is the main agenda to achieve when getting to your research project to be successful and to be well connected with the reader. Now I can boldly say I have been able to understand and acknowledge all the details that guide the research work.

Here comes a new day, My tutor was so annoyed that the student came late but he later pardoned them and moved the main agenda of the day which everyone was getting prepared for the research, he asked those that have gotten their 4th research objective to focus on there main literature review which every student are getting ready for the task; here is my literature review of since i got my 4th objective already;

RESEARCH QUESTION: What are the challenges and opportunities for online African food small business entrepreneurship start-up ventures in Scotland?

RESEARCH AIM:

The aim of this research is to critically evaluate the challenges and opportunities for online African food small business entrepreneurship start-up ventures in Scotland.

RESEARCH OBJECTIVES:

To critically review literature on entrepreneurship and business management to gain an understanding of the challenges and opportunities for online African food, small business entrepreneurship start-up ventures in Scotland.

LITERATURE REVIEW

Studies investigating the challenges and opportunities for online African food small business entrepreneurship start-up ventures in Scotland have often concentrated on areas where there is a large supportive ethnic minority community. Less work has been conducted on the experience of those entrepreneurs operating in cities where such ethnic resources may be less widely available. Considered from the perspective of mixed embeddedness framework, this study uses face-to-face interviews with 25 ethnic minority entrepreneurs to gain a greater understanding of the constraints experienced by the starting and running businesses in one such location, the Scottish city of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom. Although issues found by previous studies such as access to funding remain an issue, the entrepreneurs indicated problems with access to labour as United Kingdom Border Agency’s immigration rules and tightening of the Post Study Work visa have had a profound effect on these entrepreneurs. The results imply that the weakening of the online African food small business microsphere has not opened up opportunities that are exploited by the entrepreneurs, but they have still been exposed to external forces from the regulatory macrosphere. Both entrepreneurs and policymakers need to think carefully about the retention, training, and recruitment of staff. In particular, the wider ramifications of immigration rule changes need to be considered, but also whether entrepreneurs need to be more open to the potential of recruiting non-ethnic employees and if so what support is required to achieve this.

Hi, Here is my assessment for week four. After getting to class some students started coming then it was a few minutes past 9 am wondering if the tutor wouldn't come today the I saw one of our tutors who lectured us in the first semester, the tutor commence with what we've learnt with the previous tutor and he gave us some strategies on how to be able to meet up with a good research project work that would enable us to have a good one when we commence with a Full Master degree program. He said we should look around us what we see and what we do on a daily basic of our life. He said there lots of topic that's more meaning and educative to our ears which we would be able to write upon. We should get to know more about the topic, what can hinder the project topic to interesting us and the audience or anyone that would be reading the project work. Most especially he said we should concentrate on the literature review and we should also have a good conclusion from the literature review so as to tally all with the content of the Research work. he gave us this ideas to make use in other to get the main body of the research work. He highlights to us how to go ahead with the consideration and relevance of how our research topic should always be. He also made it clear to us to always understand every single line of the purpose and component of the research proposal and how to plan to justify the significance and relevance of our research topic. And we were able to get all the details as he said which we all find it useful.

Here comes a new bright day, As usual with our weekly assessment which needed to be on our padlet. Eventually, I came to class last this time around 14 minutes past 9 am which I met all my classmates and tutor in class with the day's agenda. Greeted everyone with a smile on my face because it's a shiny and sunny day since we all got to the summer period.

When getting to class, lectures had already commenced but I managed to ask some questions and the tutor gave me some ideas also he gave everyone room to meet with him in the class since everyone was focused on the research work. One of my coursemates was with him when I got in but I have to wait till the tutor is done with her. Immediately the tutor called the next person then I stood up to tell him I was available so he told me what had been missed and what I needed to do i asked some questions too which he answered and I was glad. He moved on with the 3 aims he talked about with our research work which are;

1. Identify and note answers to research questions by doing secondary data collection. (existing sources)

2. Continue the learning log, and use Moodles for guiding questions.
