A big shoutout to XXX. I would like to mention a certain occasion in 2021 that I was so thankful to have such a great buddy whom I can count on. It was during our 10.10 campaign and I was burning the midnight oil every night for 2 weeks straight, albeit still far from hitting the deadlines. Feeling discouraged, she had supper delivered to  me every night up until campaign day and I felt really supported. That kept me driven, knowing that my teammate will always have my back.

Moving to a new team from Warehouse HR Generalist to Shopee office management team with mixed feelings never been easy; I didn't know how to do it and what needed to be done initially. However, Azmir has taught me a lot about how we run the "show" to manage and maintain the entire shopee office to make shopee MY employee comfortable in the workstation.

With his super bubbly personality yet strict to the SOP and rules, he shows full support about decision making, judgement and always care about his colleague & his team entirely.  I feel so fortunate to work alongside him; Our buildings would be a mess without you - literally! kudos to you AZMIR

When I received my job offer in August 2020, a mutual friend connected us because I was curious about Shopee's work culture and would like to ask a current employee. We connected via Instagram and not even 5 minutes after we followed each other, Wei Yee offered to share her experience at Shopee with me via a phone call instead of text. She thoroughly explained her role and we then found out that we are actually on the same team!!!

One year in, we have created A LOT of memories together, from staying back at the office for last year's 12.12 Midnight Monitoring, to coming in on a weekend to pull off a virtual seller workshop last October.

Wei Yee is an excellent team member to work with, and a more excellent friend. She would check in on me regularly and also provide me space to rant or unload about work. Having her around has been a huge blessing and I'm pretty sure that other members of Seller Community can vouch for this as well.

Words could not begin to express how lucky I am to have been her friend and to have worked under her guidance. 

I still remember the moment when we first met in the office, two total strangers meeting for the first time and in the midst of getting to know each other, it felt like we have been friends for a lifetime. 

I feel like the relationship I have with her has definitely grown stronger during August. This was when I found myself to be the last person standing in my team. I was the headless chicken that was running around trying to get everything done without asking for help but that all changed when Zulaikha was assigned as my team lead. 

She did not only bring structure to the team but she has guided me to learn to take more ownership, how to get better at prioritising my tasks and how to stay calm in the midst of the storm. She leads by example and that is rare to find in leaders these days, at least in my opinion.

With her, as my lead, I realised that it’s important to utilise the resources around you and to never shy away from asking for help. I learned that the hard way and I’m glad that I did. If anything, it has allowed me to be more aware that people around you are willing to help, as long as you take the time to ask. 

Feeling forever grateful and blessed to have been under her wing.
