• Philippine Government Common Platform (PGCP) - aims to improve services and increase the operational effectiveness of government agencies by creating frameworks and policies that support interconnectivity, putting in place standardized ICT-enabled business processes that are created to operate seamlessly across public sector institutions, and creating an information infrastructure that will permit data sharing, collaboration, and exchange.

• ICT Ecosystem Development - In the Philippines. this program is a thriving one. However, the Philippines have ranked 98th (2012 and 2011) out of 157 countries and seventh among the ASEAN nations in the 2013 edition of the Measuring the Information Society (MIS) annual report from the ITU. Important policy problems are addressed, including reducing security-related threats that might potentially reverse the advances made so far. In deciding on governance, legal, and regulatory frameworks, this program seeks to have an integrated perspective on markets, networks, services, applications, and content.

• National Connectivity - It is acknowledged as a growth catalyst on a worldwide scale. According to a World Bank research, the Gross Domestic Product of developing countries rises by 1.27 percent for every 10 percent increase in broadband coverage (GDP). However, there are still many unconnected sections of the nation and many unconnected Filipinos. This problem is addressed by the program.

• e-Filipino - The DOST-ICTO leverages the use of ICT to accomplish growth and development of communities in the Philippines by creating Community eCenters as part of the United Nations Millennium Development Goal of bringing ICT access to all (CeCs). These facilities provide alternative education and skill-training opportunities to each community while adhering to the ICT needs of various people. Additionally, it strives to effect sourcing and ITpreneurship by preparing the specific needs sector through employment.

• e-Government - The President's Social Contract and the MDP are both heavily reliant on e-Government (eGov). The Philippines is now ranked 95th in the world for eGovernment. By tackling important challenges like interconnectivity and efficiency through both innovative legislative changes and smart infrastructure initiatives, this program seeks to elevate our ranking to 50 or higher.

• e-Civil Servants - Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and public and private training institutions are partners with the ICT Office in managing and implementing ICT Competency-based Training Programs. e-Government Management, Application Development, and Technology Solutions are the three tracks that the courses cover. Additionally, this program intends to improve the public sector workers' digital competencies.

• Next Wave Cities - These NWCs will play a critical role in enabling and supporting industry growth as the Philippine IT-BPM Industry expands and develops more host locations in the Philippines. These areas are excellent alternatives for the IT-BPM activities outside of more established hubs and Centers of Excellence like Metro Manila, Metro Cebu, Metro Clark, and Bacolod City since they are rich sources of untapped talent.

• ICT Enabled Startup - This is a new effort that supports the development of technology startups while encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit. It also makes use of ICT to bring about change and offer answers for issues in various industries and society at large. The ICT Office seeks to take the lead within the government in advancing the local technology startup scene in the direction of a common objective: to establish Asia as a vibrant startup hub and to effectively mobilize its key actors and resources to foster both domestic and international companies.

• Stepping up the Value Chain - In targeted high-growth IT-BPM market segments like healthcare information management outsourcing, finance, accounting, and insurance outsourcing, HR outsourcing, multilingual BPO, IT outsourcing, creative process outsourcing, and engineering outsourcing, the Stepping-Up the Value Chain Program is a long-term strategy that improves the nation's global positioning.
