1. Describe your dream job.

I can not imagine how I look like in the future, but I have always wanted to become a businessman. The reason I like doing business because I have wanted to be a cell of not only our national development but also get a top-notch position in the Southeast Asia Economies.

I like the time I spend watching Shark Tank Vietnam shows. Listening to startup-person give representations about their company or listening to some solutions from sharks make me exited or completely overwhelmed by the figures. Furthermore, talking about customer needs, the market in Viet Nam or how to deal with arising problems are useful knowledges to me.

So now I strive to study in my major and another majors. I want to get more knowledge about how cash flow, how the economies in the world operate. So that, I could become a businessman in the future.

2. Which do you prefer, a good leader or high salary when choosing a job? Why?

From my viewpoint, I would pick-up a good leader or high salary depending on the certain period time. For instance, after graduate time I prefer a good leader when choosing a job. Because I do not enough knowledge to do some specific work at that time. As a result, my first priority is getting more real-experiences or working knowledge. So that, I can handle the problems in working conditions well. A good leader is the best choice on my probation time.

On other hand, when I have enough knowledge, solve the arising problem quickly, I will deal with my boss about my salary. My boss will be happy and then to me that I am well worth the money.

1. What comes to my mind when mentioning about my dream job is to become an English teacher. When I was in the elementary school, I found that English is the funniest subject in the school ,and the teacher standing on the stage made me so admired. Since then, I determined to be an English teacher in the future. I want to pass my knowledge to students like my English teacher did. However, with the time flying by, there are more and more people around me told me that the number of teachers in Taiwan was too high to afford more. If you want to make a good living in the future, you should choose other careers like engineers and doctors. As a result, in the senior high school, I chose the science-oriented class, which provides abundant training in science subjects such as physics, chemistry and biology. Nevertheless, I discovered that I had no interest in any of them. Though I didn't fail on science subjects, I still felt so boring about studying them. Finally, after the exam about getting into the college, I realized that I don't need to take others word so seriously. I have the rights to decide what I want to be in the future. Therefore, I chose the Foreign Language Faculty in the university. I want to pursue my initial dream job. Though it'll be a hard way to go, I believe I can go through it with my passion in teaching English.

  2. In my point of view, I would like to be a good leader instead of to get a high salary job. Though I may have a better material life with high salaries, I think I won't have much time to rest and do other activities I like. In Taiwan, there are so many high paid jobs ,but none of them is what I am truly interested. I believe doing the job I like is much more important than getting a high salary one. Also, in my opinion, leading others can be delightful because I can use my abilities to influence others, and I would like to create a space for every member in my team to express their ideas freely and cooperate to make everything better. I think that is what I want to accomplish in the future ,and I believe that I can use the leading skills to make my class better in the future as well.

1. I have always wanted to become an interpreter which I find intriguing and fascinating. As a kid, I was a little girl with a passion for languages.

There was a time when I was a freshman, while watching a teacher professionally teaching in the class. She said that she used to be an interpreter which makes a lot of money. However, you don’t have time to waste it. Her pronunciation and accent make me admire her in the first class. At that time I had a dream of becoming an interpreter. Her professional attitude, her fashion, her intelligence, everything about her has motivated me to become a woman like her even though most of students don’t like her.

Becoming a professional interpreter is not an easy thing for me. It takes time to learn a language and often if a traveller is only visiting a country for a short period of time spending considerable time learning a new language may simply be not practical as far as setting the time aside to do so. It requires having solid knowledge and confidence when communicating. Not only that but also have to learn how to take notes while listening and the content conveyed must be clear. Being an interpreter seems more complicated than being a translator. I know well that I have to try harder to get my dream job, but fortunately, I’m still trying.

2. A leader matter more because the cost of working with jerks is too great. I can’t let myself regret having to work so hard with those who lack of intelligence and express themself to putting others down. That would be too much for me to bear especially for a long time. Even if I get a job offer with a higher salary, I would never work with an inexperienced leader.

The safe option is to work with people who can expand my horizons and make me feel like they’re worthy of a superior position. The wrong people will burn your dreams to pieces, sabotage your success and rob you of everything you have. The right people will build you up bigger than any salary ever could and help you look back on your career one day and be proud. That’s what I learned from motivational videos on Youtube.

1. " What's my dream job? " It's long been a tough question since I was just an elementary school student. As time going by, I am now clear about what job do I prefer the most. That is, I want to be an aircraft maintenance inspector because I can have close contact with the aircraft. Not only does the factor mentioned above attract me, but also the indispensable position of this occupation. Since if a crucially mechanical problem weren't tackled timely, it would brought about a severe disaster. Despite the fact that the scientific principle isn't easy at all, I will put tremendously effort into it for my dream. After all, only consistently trying different ways to overcome the difficulty can I succeed in the end.
2. I prefer a good leader when choosing a job. One reason is that I'd like to work with someone shrewd and open to various ideas from his or her employees. In my opinion, if a leader couldn't take any advice, the identical goal would be impossible to achieve, and some of the employees wouldn't want to cooperate at all. Another reason is that with an exceptional leader, the company will make a great profit. Thus, the employees' salary might raise as well. After all, to make business lucrative, an excellent leader and hard-working employees are both required. The two reasons mentioned above are why I prefer a good leader to a high salary job.

      1. In the future, I would like to become an English teacher, because, since high school, English has been my favorite subject. Prior to then, I had no interest in studying English so I got poor grades. When I was in grade 10, I first met my English teacher. At that time, I realized that my only favorite subject is English. My English teacher, she inspired me greatly, from patiently explaining things to us when we didn't understand the lessons, organizing various activities for us to become more involved in our learning; to sharing us about her amazing experiences in her teaching years. All of these made me eager to become an English teacher like her.
2. When it comes to choosing a job, I prefer one with a greater income because it represents my own abilities. I understand that a high wage entails a large burden, but I believe I am able to do a good job. A good leader is also essential, but I can't rely on them indefinitely; they can only guide me in part of the process, then the rest is up to me.

Honestly, I have a lot of answers regarding my dream career, but now I can firmly consider my possibility of becoming a translator. Because of being a bibliophile, I personally always have great respect for the translators who did a great job in conveying the beauty and depth of one culture to another one by encoding words in a precise way and preserving authors' ego as well as their literary work in that process.

To me, the first plus point of this job is that we do not work on the same boring path of working. In order to complete the translation of a literary work, the translators must be the first person to completely immerse themselves in the emotional maze that the author has worked so hard to create. That labyrinth can lead them to travel to tragedy, happiness, anguish, confusion, pleasure, or despair. And I believe that their feeling after going through each maze will be absolutely various: it can be a little disappointing, but full of pride and ecstasy still lingers when they took their eyes off the last line of the story.

Another plus that can be mentioned is immersing yourself in the chorus of human language. As a translator and a bilingual user, it is very excited for them to see the funny in the authors' puns by optimally using the similarities in languages pronunciation. For that reason, we can see that the authors also created a "Morse code" for their own work. Accidentally, translators had become “decoders” who could make this “joyful Morse code” revive across the language of another culture. I am truly appreciated translators bringing back to life this fun side of “beauty of words”.

Writing about the second question, I will choose a good leader instead of a high salary because “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together” (African Proverb). A good leader is the soul of a successful team. I may receive a small salary for this choice, but I believe that the valuable lessons I get from that leader cannot be bought with my salary. A good leader can be someone who will help me realize other aspects of myself that I have never been thinking about, and support me to improve it, which means I still have the ability to develop myself with a good leader. Meanwhile, choosing a high salary with a boss always scolding, blaming, and can not even find a common solution for the whole team will definitely create a very stressful working environment and limit his teammates' creativity as well. If I were an employee in that situation, I wonder if my "good salary" would be enough to pay for psychotherapy sessions.

Especially i really want to one job can make me live 365 days for real, not a day that repeats 365 times.

2. Which do you prefer, a good leader or high salary when choosing a job? Why?

I think i prefer is a good leader than high salary. Because i think the salary is a ruler for knowledge of someone, if someone have a high salary although this job is a normal work as other peolple in the company then that isn't a nice job for me. Otherhand, if is a good leader can help me improve communication skills also manage skills. I think when a good leader meaning you is a person knowledge also can solve problems quite good. At that time, i think a high salary will a reward no refuse for self dedication.

Even though the high salary, I still feel uncomfortable, always tied up. Becoming a businessman, I can do what ever I want, I don’t have to wait for other people to pay my money. The harder I work, the more money I earn. One of my favorite businessmen is Pham Nhat Vuong – CEO Vingroup. I want to be a good businessman like him, or even better.

Whenever I find a job, I’m looking for a good leader.
