Lenin expressed dislike at the prospect of Stalin ruling after his death, but he would be ignored. Stalin won this power struggle versus Trotsky by alienating him from the rest of the party and tightening his grip, having him exiled and eventually executed.

From here, he starts to expand. He first begins with his 5 year plans, promoting industry and progress, but quickly turns to crueler methods, starting The Great Purge.

He seizes grain from farmers, sends any dissidents to Gulags, and begins to execute any who would question his power through troikas, or show trials, giving him the end all be all status as dictator of Russia and the Communist Party.

He organizes marches and protests using this party of people and creates squads of "Black Shirts" that he uses to enforce his will and remove officials that would oppose the cause.

In the 1922 March on Rome, swarms of Fascists begin to demand that Mussolini be appointed to Prime Minister. Not wanting to start a Civil War, the king quickly gives in and does so.

Mussolini quickly puts this power to work, putting his people in high positions and cultivating a "state controlled economy" that still allows for a small amount of Capitalism. He eventually takes full power, marking the start of his Totalitarian rule and earning the name "Il Duce", or the Duke.

Adolf Hitler joins the Nazi Party, quickly rising to leader and attempting to overthrow the Weimar Republic that would sign this treaty and bring shame to the nation. He fails, writing his manifesto "Mein Kampf" while jailed that details his ideas early on of creating a "Master Race" and eliminating Jews from Germany.

Once released, he slowly grows his party's power. He creates the Gestapo, his secret police. He pushes propaganda to bring others to the cause, and rigs elections so Nazis assume positions of power.

In 1933, due to rising Nazi support, he is made Chancellor of Germany. A fire starts in parliament, and he uses this to blame others and suspend citizen rights. Finally, following the death of Von Hindenburg, Hitler is elected President of Germany, consolidating his power and making him a dictator.

He spreads propaganda to push certain views, and indoctrinates the young and uneducated.

He censors any who would speak out, using his very own secret police to enforce his will.

His opposition can no longer fight back against him, and his grasp over Russia only tightens.

He censors the media and his opposition, jailing or executing any opposition towards him and the party.

He rigs elections to make sure fascists secure high positions, and increases spending to grow military which causes militarism.

He increases Nationalism through all prior things, but specifically pushes it through the Fascist motto of "Unity and Authority".

He creates the Nuremberg Laws so Jewish people are no longer considered citizens and places very tight restrictions onto them.

He removes women from positions of power, and attempts to keep them uneducated.

Anybody who would oppose his rule or his Final Solution would be sent to Concentration Camps.
