How are you? Hope you find this letter in your best health. I'm also good here.

However, I am very disappointed with my performance in the terminal examination of this session, and I am sure you must be feeling the same. When I first started this boarding school, I was nervous and excited about a new start. But it wasn't what it seemed like.

Ever since I came here, it has become difficult for me to cope up with the other children here, who have been studying here for years. I believe the reason I didn't do well this time lies not only in how lonely I have been, but also how little I studied. I never realized how fast time went by and everyone seems to be ahead of me. But yesterday, I found myself a new friend. She is also new to the school, but she is still doing very well. She is also helping me out.

Its has been a long time since I talked with you because I was preparing for my mid terms exams. I am really nervous to tell that I didn't score good marks.

Yesterday when my result was about to get released, I was pretty nervous because I felt that my exams did not go up to the mark, and when I got my marks, I was dejected but I knew that my results would be pretty low because I did not prepare well. As you say that being sad wont help you in the upcoming exams so I ensure you that in the finals I will work more harder and will score better marks.

Dear mother
Being busy with the preparation for my exams, I was not able to talk to you properly, but now as exams are over, I'm finally free.
Also, yesterday I received my results for terminal examination  and I admit that they are not good, even can be called poor. 
But I'm not alone, almost everyone in my class got below-expectant marks and the reason behind this is this stupid pandemic!
First of all, school's duration was reduced to only being 4 hours instead of 6 due to the virus. Holidays were given when the first wave was just firming its grip over India. 
Second; several teachers were forced to take weeks off, including Hindi teacher(in which I got least marks). Due to the absence of teachers, students had to study on their own for a good while. 
Third, concentration was very difficult to make whilst studying or while attending a class because whenever someone sneezed or coughed, 5 minutes were automatically wasted in sanitizing the whole room, forcing the person, accused of having the virus, to leave the room and be in quarantine for days. 
There were a lot of hardships this year but I expect a hurdle-less year ahead and hoping to get good marks too.

Anyways, How's father and you? I've already booked tickets and I'll be there in Mohali in a week. Hoping to see you in excellent health

Dear Mother,
It has been a long time since I have heard from you, I hope this letter finds you in your best health.

Yesterday I received the results of my terminal examination. I am very disappointed with my terrible performance in the terminal examination and I am sure you must be reciprocating the same.

Ever since you enrolled me into Learning Paths Boarding School, I have been alone for the past six months and as I haven't been able to make any new friends, I had trouble adjusting and I got lonely and started to go to the gaming arcade near the college to spend time and stay distracted from the loneliness.

I spent too much time there, not realizing that I was missing on my studies.

Adding salt to my wounds would be the fact that 2 of the new friends I had made died to this stupid virus and one of them was admitted to the mental hospital as he went crazy(cuckoo-bananas)due to lack of Instagram. He lost his personal portable WI-FI router before the lockdown and due to that he couldn't buy a new one and nobody gave him their internet access.

Months passed by and I lost track of time. Before I knew it, the terminal exams had arrived and I couldn't study enough to clear my doubts.

I may have studied poorly for this exam but now I have made friends here. I opened up my feelings in front of my classmates and they understood me and now I have so many new friends.

We will all study together and keep each other motivated. I will score much better in the next exams. Hope you forgive me. I will study harder.

Day before yesterday I received my terminal examination result I really did not performed well in the exams.
