Post-seminar, the importance of WC work at the CC level seems as, if not more important, than at the traditional 4-year institution. As sites of anti-racist work, sites of transfer, just general sites of preparation, CC WCs can have some mind-blowing implications for students...assuming they're given the chance to function as needed.
