Liner Notes and Song - 'Son of a Beast'

I was traveling through space reminding myself of the huge tragedy that is the death of the Orb of Glon. I knew I had to avenge him and I had to save the world from the space demons. I was killing two birds with one stone. I told Mr.Stapp, we can’t wait anymore. We must create the song.

I reviewed all that I learned and I was inspired by the Balkan music and it reminds me of where I am from. I took the drums from the Balkan Music because I loved the rhythm or more specifically, the compound time. When we went to visit the Balkans, the instrumental music made me feel nostalgic and I knew I had to add it.

I put Cumbia music because I was inspired by Toto’s story and wanted to include it into the mega-song. I only included the clarinets because I knew it would go nice with the rhythm of Balkan music. Toto taught us the harmony of the cantora, it made me realize I needed to have that with my music. The music was my voice.

Finally I put the tabla of Indian Style Raga. I needed something fast to match the fast pace of the clarinet and drums of Balkan music and Cumbia music.

It was time. Time to kill the space demons. If I didn’t, they would steal all of the world’s music. I can’t even imagine that. Music is an escape from reality. It holds stories of the past and each individual. Music makes everything enjoyable and we can't let the space demons just take it away. Not on my watch. I couldn’t take their harassment anymore.

I stole the time capsule. I couldn’t have anyone coming with me. This is something I have to do. I went to space, right to the edge of the milky way to be specific and put on my space suit. I opened the door and faced the demons head on. “Hey. Choke on this.” I played the music as loud as I could. They started to shake and came attacking after me. I knew it was coming. I had created a sword made of notes. I needed to focus. I was about to slice them in half when it happened by themselves. The music was destroying them. Some rotted, some broke in pieces, some exploded and a lot of other things happened. It felt ongoing till they all died. That was when the leader of the space demons came. More than 200,000 feet in height with even larger wings. Then the final notes of the piano started and it slowly started to rumble. Then shake. Soon, it melted right in front of my eyes. I did it. I defeated them. “HA! TAKE THAT YOU SONS OF BEASTS.” Disgusting unethical things. “Do you see this Orb of Glon? Haha. I did it.” I would like to emphasize that this is definitely worth some bragging rights.

Liner Notes - The Space Demon Destroyer 5000

When I heard that space demons were attacking. I was very scared. Just the name space demons is enough to make you say “ that's made up. Right?” Then when I learned that the only way to make them disappear was to make a super song to explode their brains, I was ready to do that. It was gonna be hard but I was going to save the earth with the power of music. And friendship, but we'll get to that later!

The first place that we went to was the Taj Mahal in India during the 1600’s to learn about the style Indian classical music. We got a very famous classical Indian music band and when they played it was amazing. I loved it when the strings of the sitar were plucked just right. I knew because of that it was going to be in my song to save the universe! I knew that this was going to be a great song if that was in it.

The next place that we went to was Los Angeles in 2000. You might be thinking, that's a pretty big jump from the 1600’s. What happened that was so important at that time in Los Angeles. Well, it was nothing we were interested in. We visited Tan Dun to learn about what times were like during the time when China was under the rule of Mao Zedong. It turns out that there could be no western instruments allowed during that time. Tan Dun is best known for the film score of the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon where he combined traditional instruments like the Erhu and western instruments. When I heard that music I knew that this style was going to have to be in my song.

The final place we visited was Mexico City in 1934 where we saw mariachi bands play. When I heard the entire band playing together I was ready to really like this. And the guitarron. It was so great I knew that when we heard more that I wanted this to be in my song but I needed a little bit more. Then when I heard the mariachi refers to the person, the group and the music it was amazing. That means it could be a mariachi in a mariachi playing mariachi. That proved to me that it could destroy the space demons from the space demon planet in space demon galaxy inside the space demon universe.

Now that I had all the styles of music I just had to assess the issue and put them together very carefully and then add some loops and it would be done. Kidding I added them in and then put loops in places and then a car crash just happened to be in the song. But then after it looked, smelled, and tasted like a masterpiece. I knew this would destroy the space demon army and the queen space demon. And the queen space demon's name was… PRINCESS SPARKLE PANTS! I walked up to the space demon army and then blasted my song in every speaker in a 5 mile radius. They figured out what was going on and the space demons tried to attack me! Despite the fact that they were trying to kill me I tried to stay civil. Kidding again I brung out my baseball bat and started swinging because I thought this would impact them in a very negative way. But just before that happened they were destroyed by my powerful song and one other thing. THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP!!!!!!! But just to ensure they were dead I poked them with the bat.

I wanted to combine as many styles of music as I could when I was writing it, so I used film music’s strings as a background, which is why I am using it throughout the song. I really like the Erhu and how it sounds. In fact, the reason why I started playing violin in the first place was because I saw someone playing the Erhu in a train station, and I liked it so much, I tried to find a teacher for it, but I could not find one, so I learned the violin instead, where I could get access to a teacher easier. I also liked the piano because it sounds nice. I also feel like the cello ties it all together. I really like the western instruments in this part of the song.

I really like the classic indian music because the sitar sounds like a guitar, and I feel like the raga demonstrates sufficient rhythm for the song. I also like how the classic indian music sounds like a whole song.

After that, I had the african pygmy music because I thought it sounded cool and complemented the strings well. Also, I like Polyphonic music because I think that it adds a supernatural sound to the song. Also, the ostinatos help it be repetitive. At first, this would be a considerable issue, however, it is ok because I use it as more background sounds.

I learned about the music of many cultures, in order to aid me in my mission to kill the space demons and avenge the orb of glon. I was hearing so much that I had never heard before. I wanted to combine them in one piece to defeat the space demons.

The first thing I put into my music was an instrumental balkan brass song. It was inspired by the romani people and their colorful style of music.

Then, I played african pygmy music. To me, it was very unusual, due to the hocket rhythm, and polyphonic tones. Because it was so different from all the other music styles included, I decided to put it in, as it would enhance the diversity of the music. Then, I added columbian cumbia music. I really like this south American style of music. Sadly, since I was working with electronic tools, I was unable to recreate the ‘call and answer’ that occurs in many columbian cumbia songs. Then, I added a mariachi song. It is a traditional, rural mexican style of music with a rich history that had a deep impact on it. I had to put it in to give me the best chance I could get at defeating the space demons. I played the song as loud as I could, and the advancing space demons were brought to their knees. They began to melt into ooze in front of me. Their king, Joe, barely escaped with a few of his followers. I still don't know where they are. No matter, because I certainly taught them a lesson never to mess with us humans again.

Through my intense space and time travels as a space music navigator I studied several styles of music, looking for the perfect combination of sounds to combat the evil space demons. When I heard that the Orb of Glon was killed in an ambush, I doubled my efforts.

My first stop was the Taj Mahal. I remember it well. We arrived sometime in the 1600s during the Moghul rule. In order to get access we had to hire some famous Indian Classical Musicians. They played a beautiful raga and the tambura player held down the drown perfectly. The sitar was so beautiful I had to have that in my song.

I then went to Mexico during the inauguration of Cardenas in 1934. I heard Mariachi music and was blown away. I had to use the vihuela and the guittaron in my music. The trumpet was also something special. I love how they could play a waltz rhythm so quickly and effortlessly.

The last stop was New Orleans where I heard the beautiful combination of sounds from Haiti, Ragtime music, French Music, and Spirituals. Listening to how they created a new style of music was inspiring. Their syncopations were out of this world. This was the final ingredient.

In my music I demonstrate all of these sounds and how they come together in a considerably abstract way. The space demons will hear the beautiful expressions of us humans and they will be sufficiently blown to bits. I added a few beats to mix it up and some sound effects that would catch them off guard to completely manipulate and explode their alien brains. They’ll have no chance!

Through my intense space and time travels as a space music navigator I studied several styles of music, looking for the perfect combination of sounds to combat the evil space demons. When I heard that the Orb of Glon was killed in an ambush, I doubled my efforts. My first stop was Marichal. There was some style of music that just inspired me. There were many like rancheras, cumbias, marches, huapangos. The kind of style that Marichal had an impact on me because I got to learn more new songs, and new dances. The last stop was New Orleans where I heard the beautiful combination of Creole style, also known as French music and many others, like Spanish and African. Other kinds of music were there in New Orleans but the one that was the farthest was Jazz, Armstrong played and others too. In my music, I used these to make a better kind of music so the Demon Aliens can dance their feet off! I used these because there was some harmony in these kinds of music. There were some strings on them that were calling my name to add them, it was a good decision to add them. They both make a good kind of music. I believe the Aliens will love it!

I remember it well. We arrived in 1000 CE. In order to get access we had to search around and We found people and learned about Plainchant in churches and monophonic lines, we learned about Hildegard von Bingen and her music. I loved the music and decided to use it for my music.

I then went to Mexico during the inauguration of Cardenas in 1934. I heard Mariachi music and was blown away with the fantastic music . I had to use the vihuela in my music, it was a beautiful line of work. The trumpet was also something special, it helped play a super fantastic part of the music. I love how they could play a waltz rhythm so quickly and I saw pure perfection .

The last stop was Serbia where I heard the beautiful songs of the Romani people, I was intrigued with the helicon and the magical instrumental music with just the instruments which my whole music piece is based off of

In my music I demonstrate all of these sounds and how they come together in a considerably abstract way. The space demons will hear the beautiful expressions of us humans and they will be sufficiently blown to bits.
Demon Destroyer

After learning about different styles of music I chose 3 that I ensured would destroy the space demons if integrated together. The space demons were a evil group who wanted destruction. We needed to stop them and avenge The Ancient Orb of Glon who told us about the power of music. I chose Balkan, Medieval and Jazz. Balkan brass music contributed to the Serbian rebellion against the Ottoman Empire. Balkan Brass had instruments like the helicon and it also had instrumental music. I like how the Romani people continued to enjoy themselves with music despite them being called racist terms. In addition it demonstrated an important role by rallying troops and keeping soldier’s entertained during their down-time. We time traveled to 2011 Guca, Serbia and listened to One Million Hit by Markovich Brass Band & Asfalt Tango by Fanfare Ciocårlia. Then I went to Medieval times Germany 1000 CE. Here I learned about plainchant which is a style of music during the medieval period sung in churches. Some elements about it is it has a monophonic melody and has drones. Hildegard von Bingen was given permission to write songs about the 7 virtues and I listened to Wisdom. I chose this style because the ancient orb of glon told us to save the universe we need to combine the old with new. The last style I chose was New Orleans traditional Jazz. Jazz was made when the French introduced code noir where enslaved people gathered and sang. We went to New Orleans in 1920. I like how jazz is made up of syncopation like African Haitan rhythms and spirituals like church music. In my music I bought the music together and created an original drum part. This combined with the styles will manipulate the alien brains to explode.

In my travels through space and time as a space music navigator I learned of the different and many different kinds of music, while also searching for the perfect music combination with the power to defeat the evil space demons. The safe demons are dangerous monsters that are trying to take over the world while I am looking for the strongest music weapon of all time. The space demons have to be defeated because of their cruel ways and how they have hurt many people.
The first timeline I went to was Mexico, the year was 1934. I looked for music that would be good for the music weapon that will destroy the space demons. When looking for music I saw a Mexican song called ranchera. When listening to ranchera it made me quite interested. Listening to it made me interested because when listening to the rhythm of the song there were the loud songs and then there was the quiet version of ranchera.I chose to use both the quiet version and the loud version. I was unable to get a vihuela but I was able to find an acoustic guitar. This was going to be my first choice of music .
My next timeline was New Orleans in 1920 where I searched for the different music that I heard. But then I heard music made by a sax . The sax was interesting because when listening to it it had a lot of emotion in it. I choose this as my second choice of music, while also choosing the song “when the saints go marching in” made by Louise Armstrong with the sax together.
My last choice would be Columbia, the year 1991. I searched for many different kinds of music but none had caught my mind except for this one: listening to it was an interesting kind of music. It was similar to mexican music but different. I chose this as my last choice of music.
The music Mexican,New Orleans, and Colombian were my music choices. When doing the music there were some but I was able to finish it, while it was a temporary issue. While seeing my I was able to fix it and I learned a bit more about the music. These choices are what I choose to use against the space demons and use the music weapon to defeat the space demons.
issues
issues

“The evil aliens are following us” Mr.stapp says to the public, when Khloe the amazing hero decides to play “the not very good song” To humans it sounds exquisite but to the aliens it sounds like death, Which it is. Between the mix of the beautiful Pygmy ostinatos and Hocket Rhythms, and the uniqueness of both the medieval music and the movie music. The aliens will hear death and the Cumbia music will blow them to smithereens with the beautiful mix of all the cultures and types of music.

The Aliens are unaware of the beauty cultures and styles music has other than gross country music. Despite the sufficient resources the aliens have here on earth they are still ignorant to the types of music there are. They think there is only one type of music: country music. This music will impact the whole world. In fact this music will save the whole world from the country aliens. The plainchant in the medieval music will blow their brains out, the tambor will rattle their bodies making them dance to a despicable death

MY musical inspiration was the piece I created for the chinese movie music, and the Pygmy ceremonial music. For the pygmy music I exported the file just as oos and aas to get the singing effect I wanted for this piece of music. I wanted to demonstrate how beautiful this type of music was and how well it would go with movie music! For Cumbia I exported the tambor and maracas. To create a nice base line for certain parts of the music. The western instrumentals and the tambor mixed extremely well. The medieval music melisma backed up all these things to make one. And to finish it all up the Pygmies oos and aas making the music unique and ensures its own personal music identity.

Throughout my interesting and cool space and time travels, it was definitely worth it! As someone whose mission was to find several styles of music and somehow make it all work together and defeat the evil space demons, it was a roller coaster of emotions. After hearing that the Orb of Glon was killed, I was in rage! I knew that at this moment, that I would demonstrate sadness and my dedication in order to destroy them.

After going to many adventures and nearly dying in almost every single one, I must say it was totally worth it. After all, I do have a few of my favorite adventures written in my journal. The first of my favorites was Medieval music. It was from such a long time ago yet it had such a way that it moved me! The way the plainchant was heard and especially the drone made me feel different! It wasn’t a bad difference, it was a good difference. I knew that when I had heard it, I wanted no scrap that I needed in order to defeat the evil space demons!

After that, we went on several more adventures, and let’s just say that we almost died, a lot. My second favorite was when we went to Colombia in 1991. I had heard this music a long time ago either in the streets or at home but hearing it at that time was just unique! Despite how long ago it was made, it still lives on in many people's minds and hearts! Just like the Medieval music, it made me stop for seconds. It’s almost like time froze right there. The harmony and la cantadora just mixed so well. I myself could never sing so well and hearing their voices being used in that way made me step back. I wanted this in my final piece as well.

Last but not least, Mexico City. I have a family whose and I had been raised with this type of music and still after so many years, that music made me feel surprised. Of course it was nothing new yet hearing it from 1934 was different. Do you know that feeling when you’ve had access to the same food/song for so many times and yet it has that feeling in your heart? That’s what I felt. For this type of music, it was mariachi and the instruments it uses are guitarron, vihuela and it’s played in waltz. Even now writing it, it gives me a warm feeling.

In my music, which I decided to name cherie, it's an example of old music, music still in people's hearts and the type of music close to home. Now my only hope is to make sure that those evil space demons brains will be blown away from just how good it is! I do hope this is sufficient. But what would music be if it doesn't have a bit of extra spice? I added my own notes into it. If I once had a doubt in my mind that it wouldn't work well, that doubt is now gone. This song is so epic that not only will space demons brains be blown away, anyones could be! I do hope that the Orb of Glon will see that we’ve learned enough.

Summer Wonderland

I visited the planet Glorbstob. This planet is also known as “Summer Wonderland” because it is summer for ¾ of the year. Unfortunately, I came at the end of the ¾ of the year which is timebot season. Timebots come to planets once a year stealing their resources. They must be fought off. The quicker, the better. Glorbstob is the only planet with time machines. That's how timebots travel to different planets. That means if me and my team ever want to visit places we’ll have to be the ones to fight the timebots. The Glorbstobians were kind enough to provide us with fire blasters and laser guns. They demonstrated how to use them before we began our journey.

Once my team and I arrived, the first thing we did was go in the time machine. The first place we visited was Guca, Serbia, 2011. We listened to a lot of Balkan music. Whenever we listened to songs, I could hear the helicon very clearly. I also learned that Balkan music is instrumental music created by Romani people. It was time to head back so we prepared ourselves for the timebots by getting our weapons ready. When we stepped out of the time machine, many timebots flew out. We used our fire blasters and laser guns to defeat the timebots.

The second place we visited was Colombia, 1991. When we got there, we listened to Cumbia which is a Colombian style of music that is a mixture of African, Indian, and Spanish sounds. When listening to the music, I could hear the tambor very clearly. It was cool when they did call and answer. We got lucky this time with no timebots coming out of the time machine.

Our third and final stop was Ituri rainforest, northeastern Congo, Africa, approx. 500 BCE. Despite this being the first time my team and I listened to polyphonic music, I enjoyed it. When listening to this music, I could hear the hocket rhythm very clearly. When we got back in the time machine, timebots were already being transmitted into the machine so we had to get our weapons out early. I was worried that we were not going to have a sufficient amount of weapons, but we defeated the timebots once again.

I decided I wanted to create a piece of music to represent my journey in the Summer Wonderland. First, I integrated a sample of the Balkan music from Serbia. Next, I added Cumbia music. And finally, I added African pygmy music. I also incorporated some drum, string and piano beats of my own. I repeated some of the music styles to combine all the different sounds together. I added some laser noises at the end of each style of music to represent our battles with the timebots. The Glorbstobians were so kind. They are what inspired me to create this piece of music.

From all this time of time traveling to stop the space demons, I have learned and discovered many new things along my journey with the help from the Orb of Glon. When I received my last letter from the Orb of Glon I wanted to do my best in stopping the space demons, because what they have done to the music world is unbelievable. I decided to make music that sounds like no other, that will be able to burst the Space Demons head and defeat them, because I know that the more crazy and confusing the music is, the better.

I first traveled to Germany during the Medieval Times. I listened to the music style plainchant. I was walking down the halls of a church and heard the music “Wisdom” by Hildegard von Bingen. It was absolutely beautiful. I could hear Melisma again and again in the music, which was a great contribution to the song. At that moment I knew that I should add the Medieval music style in my own music to defeat the space demons. My music will be crazy but I will have a little bit of beauty in it.

Next I traveled to Taj Mahal, India during the Moghul Empire in the 1600’s. I learned some really interesting history, and it's really cool that Indians songs had to do a lot with their culture and traditions. I was later listening to a song called “Raga Sindhi-Bhairavi'' performed by Ravi Shankar. I heard the Tabla and Sitar playing during the music. The beautiful song and the sounds of the instruments really wanted me to have this style of music in my song. Which I gladly accepted because I had some wild idea on how to make this style of music work in my song. That actually wasn’t a bad idea.

My 3rd trip was to Danbury, Connecticut during 1906. I met a person named Charles Ives. He played me his song called the “Unanswered Question”. His creation was amazing, it wasn’t like other music it was different in some way. Like there it would be really soft but there would be random clashes out of nowhere. It would sound like the music is Aleatoric in some way. I heard many instruments in the music like instruments from the woodwinds, Strings and Brass. This music style was really crazy but cool. I thought this would be the perfect music style to go in my crazy song to defeat the space demons.

My last trip was to the Ituri rainforest in northeastern Congo, Africa. I listened to the music style African Pygmy. It was interesting because there were hockett rhythms in the music I was listening to, which was the Buma Dance. This music definitely sounded like polyphonic music with all the different melodies. This music style is amazing and I thought it would make an excellent integration with my other music styles. Which I was right and I think I have made the best out of it.

In my song or music I have put a lot of hard work and hard thinking on how to make the best music to defeat the space demons. I think I have demonstrated really good music with all the different music styles. I can also assure you that some parts in my music will be a great issue for the space demons because it's crazy and wild, which is really good news. My music may not be the best but I think it will be able to manipulate the space demons' minds and make them impact themselves when attacking me with their gross weapons. I think music is way better, music all the way, and I will defeat the space demons.

The Orb of Glon was defeated. It seemed like all hope was lost. Until an Idea sparked. We needed to create a song.

I went back to India where we had adventured before. Back to the Taj Mahal I went. I created an opening worthy of Shah Jahan himself. With a Sitar and Tabla I created a perfect raga.

Next, I adventured to Colombia to incorporate the style of Cumbia. It involved a fast paced harmony into my song.

Then, I went to the Congo to learn about African Pygmy Music. There I spent my time talking to the tribes native there to learn about their music. With my newfound knowledge, I created a Ceremonial Music type Ostinato that contributed a considerable amount to the song.

Afterwards, I put in a little experimental music. I made sure to integrate aleatoric music and atonal.

Lastly, I combined all styles listed here into one big discordant sound made to make the aliens ear’s bleed and heads explode to ensure justice for the Orb of Glon.

I heard that the Orb of Glon was killed in an ambush, when I heard that I doubled my efforts. During my music class I studied several styles of music and all the music is beautiful. My music is called “Remix” because it is a mix of different types of music. For examples in this music I included Jazz, Mariachi, Balkan and other styles of music. I was blown away by hearing all these beautiful musics and I can affirm that the sounds combination from Haiti, Ragtime music, French Music, and Spirituals are beautiful. Listening to the music that they created is inspiring. Also, I just love their syncopations. Mariachi music was absolutely insane. I used vihuela and guittaron in my music which made my music sound good. Balkan music is brass or instrumental music. It was used in the war and the trumpet played a key role in rallying troops and kept soldier’s entertained during their down-time. In my music I demonstrated all of these sounds and music such as Jazz, Mariachi, and Balkan impacted my music a lot. Also, in my music I added the music that I created for the first time. Despite all the issues I ran into, I put the music together and it doesn't sound quite bad. Also, I got my inspiration from me because whenever I dance I just freestyle so I decided to put all pieces together and now I can freestyle to the song that I originally created. When the space demon sees me free styling to the song they will die from a heartache. I even added a few beats to mix it up and some sound effects that would catch them off guard to completely manipulate and explode their alien brains.

The Song of the World

Over my time of traveling through space and finding different types of music I’ve found that those songs are the key components of a song that will defeat the space demons. The space demons are creatures that roam through space and want to Manipulate people’s brains so that they can work for them. They want to create a new world, a cruel world, but despite their power, the song of the world can defeat them! I would think that the space demons are very organized if they would want to take over the world so I made a song that is weird and wacky but still has music from different timelines and my own music. This music would overwhelm the space demons so they could be defeated and have a huge impact on the world so that it could be saved from the space demons.

First I went to Mexico City in 1934. All the different parts of the Mariachi music made it sound amazing. The quick pace, the gritas, and the instruments sounded really nice too. The guitarron accompanied the vocals really well. I knew I had to add this music to my song of the world.

Next I went to Guca, Serbia in 2011. I listened to Balkan Brass music and it was very nice. It was really different hearing instrumental music because whenever I hear music the instruments are usually accompanied by vocals. Still, without the vocals it was amazing. The compound time was also a new thing but also sounded really good. This was my 2nd style of music I added to my song.

The final style of music was New Orleans traditional jazz. We went to Congo square in Treme, New Orleans in 1920. The syncopation in the music sounded really good. All the different cultures mixed together to make Creole music was great material to defeat the space demons.

After hearing these types of styles of music I knew that they were the perfect material for defeating the space demons. They sounded amazing and mixing every component and style together was really fun to create a song. The different mixes of cultures would overwhelm the space demons and their brains would explode. This would ensure the safety of the world!

I named this the Legacy of the music because we collected different pieces and methods that created the history of music. My first destination was to meet Hildegard von Bingen. It was located in Germany during 1000 CE. HB (Hildegard Bingen) was the first woman to write about the gods and spirituality. She suddenly started seeing visions and created a song that she was working on, she called it the 7 virtues! She said before her work had many Melisma and its mainly plainchant. We were blessed to hear it but had to leave.

Our second destination was Coloumbia! We went a bit back to our timeline-1991. We met Totó La Momposina who is a teacher, a cantadora (singer) and a dancer. She told us that she had to leave her home because of the conflict named La Violencia. She wasn't famous until she had a tour in three different countries! I was later hearing an angel's voice from a distance, I was amazed to hear Toto La Momposina sing her famous song El Pescador! (which had mainly harmony)

Our final Stop was in New Orleans, the jazz flowing like water and water flowing like...well water. The Sunday “day of rest” was the day that jazz was created. Jazz was a mix of people playing called Creole. Marketing and trading bloomed, music and arts came to play. It was like a poem being written. 1910 was the high time where jazz was promoted all over America and seeing this was like seeing the spread of everyone singing in church Spirituals.

In my music I created a poetic yet dark/realistic song where I use background music and suddenly burst in with amazing and strong tunes to definitely ruin the Aliens lives, but only temporarily...

I made this song title because it is a famous line from the end by Linkin park and it’s the end of the year. What I used was a clarinet, trumpet and claps. The trumpets were from Mariachi and Orleans. The clarinet I have access to is in the Colombian music. The two claps are me and the soundtrap. What got me to write this is unknown to me but I just wanted to kill some space demons but there was no knife to do and it was safer for space and time person me. Despite all that kept me going and listening to linkin park In The End I had try my best with how many skills with my soundtrap editing. I promote this project.

Shoutout to my mom for the linkin park music.

P.s These few not all have been fun and contribute to helping me in a fun way so thanks Mr.Stapp and hope we have more fun next year.

Mariachi began as a rural tradition in western Mexico, probably in the 1880s. Gradually, as more people went urban, mariachi became commonplace in the city. It was in 1898 in Mexico City that Mariachi Vargas, the oldest and one of the best-known mariachi groups in the world was founded. A few decades later, in 1934, at President Lazaro Cardenas' request, mariachis played at his inauguration. In recent decades, mariachi has become rather common in the United States, especially in the borderland.

The jazz music is beautiful and I actually really want to visit New Orleans. Back in the day the French implemented “Code Noir” in the Louisiana Territory which gave enslaved people Sunday as a “day of rest.” The creole that was playing the instruments were very cool as well. Spirituals' songs are very uplifting and calming. I found the syncopation very cool because the syncopation makes you excited and hearing the rhythm was uplifting.

To fight the space aliens we had to gather the most interesting and threatening music to defeat the aliens. With much research and so much time traveling we can now have all the types of music to defeat Globing.

Our first stop was Germany 1000 CE, poverty was all around us we tried to look everywhere for the perfect but we couldn't find it. We decided to take a rest at the local church, when we sat down at the local church and then the session started. This woman started singing and I thought it was beautiful and thought it was the right fit to defeat Globing. I asked the priest what type of music it was called, it is called Plainchant. I also asked what technique she did because I noticed that she sings several notes over one word, he also told me that he was called Melisma. This was the perfect fit for my song.

Then I went to Mexico City 1934, I knew I wanted Mexican music in my song, but more importantly Mariachi music in my song. But there was something that I was chasing something in my song, the Guitarron in a song is something that can blow Globing´s eardrums. Walking down the streets we saw so much talent but we couldn't find a Mariachi band that had a Guitarron. I asked the bands if they had one and multiple people said that they did not have access to a Guitarron. Then despite all my hard work I finally found one band that had a Guitarron, and right away I needed it in my song so I used it for my song, it blew me away.

My final stop was in Congo, the final missing piece for my song was an ostinato but there was another piece that I needed but I didn't know what it was. As I was walking around the jungle I saw this group of people playing some music that caught my attention. As they were singing they all but contributed to making the song the best. I noticed that a rhythm that is spread out through all the singers, came to find out it was called Hocket Rhythm, if I put this in my song then my music will display so much diversity all around the world!

During the time traveling with my class, we studied all different types of music, stories, people, and obviously, time periods. Some I knew much about and some that were new exploration and information for me... My top three favorite explorations include our time travels to the Taj Mahal in India in the 1600’s, Mexico City in 1934, and finally, Congo, Africa, approx. 500 BCE.

My first choice was India. It was so memorable. We heard a stunning raga and the sitar… the sitar was so mesmerising and attention catching. I just couldn't honor the music and time, so I just had to include the culture and music in my song. We met and learned about Ravi Shankar, an Indian musician/composer.

I then choose to incorporate Mexico into my song. Mexico has a special connection to me. I listen to it often, in my playlist and from my parents' room when they reminisce about their time and life in Mexico before they came to the U.S. I heard Mariachi music and was blown away, yet so familiar with it. I had to use the vihuela and the guitarron in my music because of how spectacular and familiar I was with it.

I later decided to choose the music from Congo, Africa. I decided to choose this style of music because, unlike Mexican music, I wasn't familiarized with this style of music at all! It was different, and I loved it. Although the Hockett Rhythm is what made it different, it's what caught my attention, and what made me further explore and love this style of music. The ceremonial music was fascinating and beautiful.

All of these styles of music contribute to my song, in which I demonstrate and display all of these sounds and culture. I think I choose these styles of music because of how culturally diverse they are. I can always appreciate, appreciating other cultures and representing them in a respectful, and educational manner. I think my song, much like ALL of the styles we learned, is different and can be seen as “weird” (and I agree) but it's a mixed story! Its mixed representations of songs from these diverse cultures I choose to integrate.

Our mission is to stop the space demons with music. What my boss has told me is that these demons are anti-music so that's how we are supposed to defeat them. Not sure how that's going to go but I’ll give it a shot. After weeks of discovering music, our messengers have been killed in an attack. Such good friends. Now this is war.

The first type of music I used for my creation is Classical Indian Raga music. After the trips, I reviewed which music styles I Liked the most. The top one on my list was Classical Indian Raga Music

The second type of music I used for my creation was Mariachi music. When I heard the mariachi play, I remembered my roots. I was mexican and grew up with this style of music. As we went on I learned that when Mexico was at war, ranchera music was created. After the trip, I decided to use the trumpet and violin for my creation.

The last type of music comes from New Orleans, a place full of culture in the year 1920. It was like being in a huge room with a splash of bright colors. The Creole people were also like a splash of bright colors. But this group of people was unique because it was a mix of races between West Africa and other races such as the French, Spanish, Native Americans and the British. When we went to Congo Square, people were singing spiritual songs. Everyone sang along and it was amazing. But when people performed jazz songs like “When The Saints Go Marching In” by Louis Armstrong, the trumpets had me hypnotized. I knew I had to add the trumpets in my masterpiece.

In my masterpiece, I demonstrate all of these styles of music mixed in with each other in an abstract way. The space demons will hear my masterpiece and will blow their useless minds. My music will control them and we will be victorious. I added a few instruments/loops that the space demons will not see coming because they are sort of dumb for underestamating the power of music. Hopefully my masterpiece will manipulate each space demon to kill themselves without me even trying. Now, all I hope is that we exceed our mission.

Today is the day where we fight the space demons with the beauty of music. They are near, I have my weapons, lightsaber, my phone and a speaker. I broke into their spaceship and proceeded toward a hiding spot near a group of space demons. Once I was in my hiding spot, I got out my phone and connected it to my speaker. And hit play. The space demons were hypnotized and standed very still like statues. I commanded them to take out their weapons and to point them at each other. I stood there amazed at what I have created, my ultimate weapon is working! Once I commanded them to shoot each other, their bodies exploded and their bodies made a satisfying squelching sound. Their blood trickled all over the floor. I proceeded to do this with every demon on board. Each one was dead except the boss. The boss was very easy to kill, turns out he was the dumbest demon I’ve ever seen. I played my monster and commanded it to grab a gun and kill itself. It did as told and exploded sending me unconscious. I woke up, and the first thing I saw were my comrades surrounding me. They told everything that happened after the explosion. I was victorious.

Liner Notes - The Worst Song Ever!!!

Welcome to The Worst Song Ever!!!!! Now, you might be wondering, how could it possibly be the worst song ever? Well, I first had to gain access to my childish brain to make my song so unpleasantly annoying that the space demons had no choice but to end their own misery by exploding their own brains!!! Here's how I made it. First I remembered when we went to Mexico city and learned about Mariachi instruments like the Guitarron and the Vihuela. When I heard the music for the first time, my first priority was to use it in my song. Then, when we went to Congo I remembered that we learned about Onstinatos and Polyphonic music, I also remembered a really cool drum beat that I had to use in my song! Finally, for the last style of music I chose the New Orleans Jazz music where we learned about Syncopation and Spirituals, when I heard the sound of the music, I had to ensure that it was in my song! I feel that the fart at the end made the final impact that really destroyed the aliens.
