I wish Texas A&M was smaller, it has over 70,000 undergrad students. But it has a great business program, and also a unique culture that you don't find anywhere else.

Abilene Christian University

ACU is a small school, and both my parents went there. It's small student body and Christian culture give you both a strong education but also a Christ-centered one- something that's becoming harder to find.

University of Notre Dame

Notre Dame has an outstanding finance program and another unique student culture. Indiana is a bit far and very cold, but it could be a terrific option.

Baylor Univeristy

Baylor is a great middleground between Texas A&M and ACU. It's 15,000 undergrad population and Baptist background are a great medium between ACU & A&M.

Real Estate Development

I've always had an interest in cities and maps, and planning residential communities would be a great application. This would require my brainstorming and abstract thinking, and also a business degree of some kind.

Financial Planning

This would be an application of my interests in investing and stocks, but financial planning is more about the people you work with. This would require a degree in finance.

Architect

I'm going to be part of a shadowing program this summer for an architecture firm, so I'll get a chance to see if this a good fit. This would stray a bit from finance, I could pursue a degree directly in architecture.

Debate

Investing/Stocks

Maybe because of my dad, but I have always had in interest in investing in stocks. If you put in just a bit of cash constinettly over a long period of time, it will compound incredibly. The tricky part is staying consistent and keeping faith in suboptimal markets.

Computers

I built my own desktop at home with a friend. I enjoy researching computer hardware, building the machine, and upgrading it when the time is right. This would also be a really cool business idea.

Bible

Finance Degree

A bachelor's in finance provides a terrific foundation for tons of careers. Even if I'm not going into one of the carears on the left, a degree in finance will help me if I become an entrepreneur and start my own business of some sort.

Parents/Mentors

Consulting my parents and other leaders in my life should be a key factor in any decision. My parents have been there and made college and career decisions back in the day, they can certainly help me in my crossroads.

Business Lawyer

Quite a bit broad, but this would be a direct application of my interest in business and debate. I could seek a business degree and go to law school, requiring a bit more schooling.
