I would not say that I have preconceived notions about Special Needs Learners. I am currently a Special Education Para so I help to provide their accommodations.

What do I plan to do to be successful in this course?

I plan on staying as organized as possible, and making sure I double check due dates so I do not miss anything.

What are my expectations for myself as a student? As a future teacher?

I want to put in the work to submit good assignments. I want to push myself to learn as much as I can in this course. As a future teacher, I want to be organized. I also want to continue learning to provide the best knowledge for my future students.

Will the kind of student I am now reflect on the type of teacher I might become? Why or why not?

I think the type of student I am now may reflect on the type of teacher I might become because if I am unorganized, constantly procrastinate, and do not push myself then I am not setting myself as a role model for my students.

What issues will I face in my journey to become a teacher? How can this class help me overcome these issues?

I think one of the main issues I will face on my journey is remaining as stress free as possible. This class can help me overcome that by having all the assignments and the due dates listed so I can plan accordingly.
