The Ghetto was surrounded by stone walls, keeping the Jewish trapped. If anyone were try to escape, they were shot by guards in the watchtowers next to the walls. Ghettos were used to obtain Jewish people and gather them up.The Ghettos were ran by the  Nazis, making sure the Jewish did not escape. After the Jewish people had lived in the Ghetto for a few weeks, the Jewish were ordered to gather up belongings and boarded onto Cattle cars. In the camps, the perpetrators, Nazi soldiers, forced people into labor, detained people thought to be enemies of the state, and mass murdered many innocent people. Jews that appeared to be weak and unuseful, including women,children, and elderly people, were sent to gas chambers and were killed. In other words, a labor camp was where Jews were sent to do work that Adolf Hitler assigned. Death camps are  prison camps in which many die from poor conditions and treatment or from mass execution. Concentration camps are where large numbers of people are imprisoned in a relatively small area with inadequate facilities sometimes to provide forced labor to await mass execution. Some of them was the Labor Camp, Death Camp, and a Concentration Camp. Many prisoners were transported to the Concentration Camp by rail freight cars in inhumane conditions. Amounts of prisoners died due to no food or water, the heat of the Summer, and the harsh Winter. Once sent to a camp, the prisoners would wait to be separated into different camps depending on if they were fit for labor work or to be executed. This made Germany take full responsibility for the war. These restrictions caused social unrest throughout the country. During this time the Great Depression started causing unemployment, inflation, and hopelessness. This alongside the social unrest after the war caused the German people to believe in anything that would supposedly bring them back to greatness and they found their answer, Adolf Hitler.
