It is a need and also just a want. It is a need because of the advancing of our generation trying to achieve a world where technology would become so useful that everything we do there is technology attached. Example, how they teach in classrooms using powerpoints and other electronic devices to teach students. Also it affects on how we communicate with other people.
     With our situation like this, our society became more of a technology world rather than a human world. Where technology is the one almost controlling everyone rather than us controlling technology. Whatever we do, we use technology, we open facebook, instagram, messenger even when we eat with our families or hangout with our friends that we forget to try to make a conversation with each other because we are so amused with what we see in our devices. 
     As demand for technology is booming, it is also causing us some trouble. It makes us comfortable being with our devices rather than trying to enjoy what is outside with people. We indulge ourselves with this devices, opening different online platforms to satisfy ourselves rather than trying to do something that is physically fun. What is the use of meet-ups when we can just communicate using our phones, our tablets or our computers?
      Technology became so demanding that we even reach a point where we do not want to communicate with other people face to face. Where we no longer communicate with people physically where we can show our emotions as we speak or say something. We became so comfortable being alone with our devices in our comfort zones. And it already makes us afraid to talk in person because words that are spoken can never be taken back. Somehow, in using messenger or other online platforms we use to communicate, we can edit the words that we're going to say to the people whom we are communicating with. 
    As I have watched the video, I agree that we are connected but alone. Yes we communicate but through our devices; where we are already forgetting the real essence of communication.
