I think that Mark is very nosy and very curious about what Hitler did during the time period of the Holocaust and World War ll. He asked his dad many questions about what happened and asked if Mark was Hitler would you still love me and take care of me? This reminds me of the time when I asked my dad many questions about who is going to train me for basketball. My dad was only telling me minimal things. So I started to get nosy and curious like Mark.

In the book Hitler's Daughter, the text reminds me of a signed post. The signed post I recognize in this book is a again and again. Mark and his mom and his dad are having a conversation numerous times about Hitler. Mark is very curious about who Adolf Hitler is and what he did. Mark asks many questions about Hitler to his mom and dad. Also, now he is starting to talk about Pol Pot why both people (Hitler Pol Pot) did the horrific things that they did and keeps on asking do "Do they know that they are doing something bad?" So far in this book Mark's mom and dad are getting annoyed with all the questions Mark is throwing at them .

Mark's dad and mom get annoyed and gets irritated by Mark because how curious he is. I connection I have to this is last year in social studies. In last years social studies we learned about the holocaust and a lot about Adolf Hitler and how he was a good man before he was the dictator of Nazi Germany. He was in the army. But, since other countries did not like he was doing and attacked Germany. That is why he committed suicide.

She is important to the story because she is the one that is telling Mark about the whole story about Hitler's daughter.
3. There is no problem in the book. This book is about how Anna (friends with Mark) makes up a story about Hitler's daughter. The whole story was about Anna telling a story about Hitler's daughter to Mark.
4. Also his whole family is also cursed because of his great grandfather. Now their family is unlucky.
Secondary Character(s):
1. My first reaction when they first introduced Mr. Sir is that he is very bossy and mean. When they described Mr. Sir it sounded like he was also very vicious and is careless.
2.
POV: 3rd Person
Setting: Camp Green Lake is the setting. Camp Green Lake is a dried up lake which is now a desert. Stanley Yelnats had to decide either to go to. Either jail or Camp Green Lake. I infer that Stanley will not know what he will go through will this camp. From the information I have learned so far, Stanley will have to dig a hole each day 5 feet down, 5 feet across from each direction. Also Stanley will also encounter snakes and much more.
Interesting Noticing: Something interesting I noticed during this part of the book is all of the warning that Mr. Sir keeps telling Stanley. Many people that are in the camp will have to be aware with their surroundings. Mr. Sir told Stanley to watch out for rattle snakes, scorpions and much more. But if you get attacked by the lizard you will die slow and painfully.

According to the text on page 7 it states "Stanley was not a bad kid. He was innocent of the crime in which he was convicted. This shows that Stanley did no steal the shoes. The reason why he went to Camp Green Lake is because his parents were poor and could not afford a lawyer. Therefore, there is no evidence to back him up. Another piece of evidence to back Stanley up that he was innocent was on page 24. The piece of evidence states "The sneakers fell from the sky," he had told the judge. "One hit me on the head." This shows that Stanley is telling the honest truth about what really happened. Although, Stanley told the truth the judge did not believe him. Because of his family not bringing a lawyer to court, it resulted Stanley Yelnats to go to Camp Green Lake or prison for 18 months.

(61)

Reading Response: I think this phrase keeps on appearing throughout the story because this maybe a key factor of what Mr Sir and Mr Pedenski is looking for. Mr Pedenski and Mr Sir are asking all the campers to find anything that is interesting to important. This object might be taken to the Warden and maybe be very important to the story. I am very curious about what is the significance of the object.

August Pullman is a 10 year old. If I was to describe August I would say that he is a nice person that does not like school. He has a rare medical facial deformity, which he refers to as mandibulofacial dysostosis. He made a friend named Summer. Summer is a girl and they met at a lunch table because August had no one to sit with and Summer's table was too crowded and decided to .

An important lesson I learned throughout the book is to never judge a person's appearance. They are a normal person. Just because someone looks different than everybody else does not mean you have to treat them differently. August is a normal 5th grader. He has many hobbies as similar people that are in his grade. Although August is different looking, does not mean you have to judge them and make a stereotype about them.

I can relate this story to real life. For example, someone who moved here that looked different than many of us years ago came to our school. (Elementary School) August was different than other people in his school. Summer cam down to his table and started to make friends with him. I was being friendly around him and saying kind words to him to make him feel welcome to this school.

If I was a movie director I would put August Pullman in my movie because he was the main character of my book. I would include Summer because to show the emotions in the lunch table of what August felt. I would also include Nate, Isabel, and Via because they are August's family and in a movie you should include family members to the main character unless something happened to them. Those would be the main character ad I would add less important characters in my movie. (If I had to make one)

August is a 5th grader with a rare disease. He has a face deformity. August did not go to school until 5th grade because of how much surgeries he has had on his face. His mom decided to home school him until she thought he was ready. August's favorite holiday is Halloween. It is Halloween because it is a day where you can use a mask to cover his face. First Halloween he was a pumpkin. 2nd he was a Tiger, 3rd he was Peter Pan and etc. He likes Halloween more than he likes Christmas because he is ashamed of how he looks.
