For example, you can use differentiated instruction to see if they have a different way of processing the material being taught. </title>

<title>Communication: After the assessment, a meeting with parents, possibly the school psychologist, and homeroom teacher should be held. This can be a discussion about the signs that you have noticed in the classroom, the results of the assessment the student took, and a discussion on the history of the student. An intervention plan can be created during this time as well to help the student progress through the class. </title>

<title>Alternative Assessments: Being in communication with the school psychologist and/or homeroom teacher can allow the teacher to create effective assessments for the student that has a learning disability or a language need. This can also be a part of the intervention plan that has been created in the meeting with the homeroom teacher, parents, and school psychologist. </title>

An example of this can be if a student is learning English they can try and have discussions with their parents at home about what happened at school only in English. </title>
