The most important thing I learned from this module is that management can be approached as people or process. because management is simply the process of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling people in the organization to effectively use resources to meet organizational goals. personally, I found this module helpful in that I've been able to look at new management styles that i can use for my management position at work.
ARTIFACTS:
What Great Managers Do (hbr.org)
6 People Management Tips for First-Time Managers (lattice.com)
[Guide] Restaurant Management Tips & Tactics: 2022 Guide | 7shifts

This module reflects on the social and economic responsibilities of a business. The Corporate Social Responsibilities (or CRS) promise no profit for a company, but they do help companies maintain a positive reputation for the positive efforts. This module helped me understand the financial impact that a company's reputation can cause.
ARTIFACTS:
The Importance Of Business Reputation And How To Protect It (marketbusinessnews.com)
How to build a good business reputation - ReputationDefender
Which Companies Have the Best CSR Reputation?

The topic of this module was globalization. it provided me with a better understanding of what goes into a global company. Whether its understanding cultures or customs. i also learned that very few companies can say they are 100% made in America because so many companies use labor outside of the country. This also shows the importance of the reputation addressed in the previous module.
ARTIFACTS:
What Is Globalization in Business? | HBS Online
Importance of Globalization in Business (startupbizhub.com)
6 Pros and Cons of Globalization in Business to Consider (hbs.edu)

This module teaches the importance of management in terms of planning. it taught me what PESTEL, SWOT, Porter's Five Forces, Resource-Based View strategy, and VIRO framework mean and their importance in a professional setting. I had no idea how much planning and management businesses required. For example, PESTEL analyzes circumstantial obstacles where SWOT helps look at an organization as a whole.
ARTIFACTS:
Pestel Analysis.png (1080×1080) (teapotng.com)
What is SWOT Analysis?
