I think some of the asynchronous tasks could be set so that we do not have to do them on the computer/I like it when not all of the tasks require us to read from a computer screen e.g. listening to podcasts, watching videos/planning lessons. I like the use of Yammer. The only issue I have had was with isolation-I had to chase it up whether it had been a mistake or not. I think it’s difficult because you don’t know what the rest of your class mates do outside the uni walls and if they are following government guidelines. However, I do feel that everything that can be done is being done to minimise risk and processes are constantly being reviewed. It was reassuring to see the latest update whereby the actual seat that we sit in for lectures can now be used to reduce the number of people needing to self-isolate if further positive tests are identified.
