         <title>Rosa Parks and Montgomery bus boycott </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>1955 rosa parks/ montgomery bus boycott&nbsp;</li></ul><div>Cause- <strong>the whites segregated the buses by putting the whites in the front and the black in the back of the bus. There weren't enough seats for the whites so they took away one row from the black section and that's when Rosa made her “movement”.</strong></div><div><br></div><div>Event-<strong> Rosa parks was on her way home from work riding the bus. The driver told the four people in the “Black section” to stand up but Rosa didn’t stand. She ended up getting arrested for not giving her seat up for a white person.&nbsp;</strong></div><div><br>Impact- <strong>The impact of what Rosa parks did was the Montgomery bus boycott. During the Montgomery bus boycott the black population from that town would boycott the buses on Rosa’s trial day and didn’t ride the buses. The Supreme Court ruled the boycott unconstitutional and the boycott ended December 20th.&nbsp;</strong></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>1957 little rock central high school&nbsp;</li></ul><div>Cause- <strong>The group in the high school challenged the segregation in public schools of little rock.&nbsp;</strong></div><div>Event- <strong>Brown vs Board of education declared that segregation in public schools were unconstitutional. The Governor Orval faubus called in the National guard to make sure that no black students got into the high school.&nbsp; &nbsp;</strong></div><div>Impact- <strong>the impact of this caused the ending of segregation between white and black students in schools.&nbsp;</strong></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>1957 eisenhower signs civil rights act&nbsp;</li></ul><div>Cause- <strong>what caused eisenhower to sign that act was because there were physical assaults against activists and bombing of schools and the southern churches. This was to protect african americans protection to their voting rights.&nbsp;</strong></div><div>Event- <strong>Eisenhower signed the civil rights act 1997 to help protect voter rights. It allows the federal prosecution of the people that suppress another person's right to vote.&nbsp;</strong></div><div>Impact- <strong>The act created the US commission on civil rights and United States Department of the Justice Civil Rights.&nbsp;</strong></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>1955 southern black pastors and civil rights leaders meet in georgia &nbsp;</li></ul><div>Cause- <strong>They did this to help black citizens against racial discrimination and segregation.&nbsp;</strong></div><div>Event- <strong>Sixty black pastors and civil rights leaders from different southern states even Martin Luther King, Jr. They all met in Atlanta, georgia who coordinated nonviolent protests that are against racial discrimination and segregation.&nbsp;</strong></div><div>Impact- <strong>the impact was that they broke the pattern of the public facilities that are being segregated by their race in the South.&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>&nbsp;</strong></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

People thought he was shot because of conspiracies made by the KGB, the mafia and also the U.S military-industrial complex.&nbsp;</strong></div><div>Event- <strong>Kennedy and his wife were in San Antonio and fort worth the day before his assassination. They were in a convertible driving through Dallas and people started shooting. The person who was convicted of MLK murder was James Earl Ray.&nbsp;</strong></div><div>Impact- <strong>The impact caused Americans to “reject the blind violence”. It also pushed the congress to quickly pass the civil rights legislation which then entered the house of representatives.&nbsp;</strong></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>
