         <description><![CDATA[<p>1.Education was affected negatively due to the distraction caused by the new regime.</p><p>2.The veil symbolized protecting their own beauty, and reserving it for god or the person they marry.</p><p>3.Bilingual schools represented western culture, and since the rules of Islam do not permit mixing with western culture, they were forbidden.</p><p>4.Women either liked or disliked the veil, it depended on the region.</p><p>5.A picture was published whilst she was protesting.</p><p>6.She was scared when it was published in Iranian media, so she dyed her hair and covered up.</p><ol start="7"><li><p>The picture atop the page represents how the revolution corrupted one’s mind, taking away their freedom and turning them to religion. It also represents how a person can both balance religion and freedom.</p></li><li><p>Marji wanting to be a prophet is based on her belief to save her country and help them.</p></li><li><p> The 3 rules Zarathustra are: Behave well, Speak well and Act well</p></li><li><p>People make fun of her, saying how could a woman be a prophet.</p></li><li><p> The three mentioned above are leaders of political protesting, who marked historic events.</p></li><li><p>Her relationship with god changes when she starts to lose faith in him.</p></li><li><p>The Rex cinema was burnt as a protest</p></li><li><p>The shah put out a statement and fled to Egypt.</p></li></ol>]]></description>

Zarathustra taught: Behave well, Speak well, Think well. Most mocked Marji, except her grandmother.</p><p><br/></p><p>Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, and Trotsky were revolutionaries. Marji distanced from God as she learned politics. At the Rex Cinema, the regime locked people inside and burned it. The Shah blamed radicals, but Marjaneâ€™s parents knew the truth.</p>]]></description>
