Culture relates to any specific characteristic , of one person, from one specific culture.
Ethnicity: Ethnicity is a culture as an entirety. For example, a cultures language, geological location, foods, etc. Ethnicity is something that the entire culture shares, whereas culture is a specific action or characteristic of one person from that ethnicity.

2/3 Social Class: Social class can be defined as where you and/or your family lands on the economic scale as a whole. For example, those who are not struggling to make ends meet or feed a family would fall into the upper class social class, whereas someone who lives paycheck to paycheck and scraps to get by would likely land in the lower class social class.

2/3 Gender: Gender can be defined as the way either a male or a female identifies themselves personally. Stereotypes of boys and girls are now obsolete, and gender references more than just reproductive organs. Gender is a mental and personal identification within a certain person. No specific aspects go into making one a male or a female, it is all a mental choice of someone.

2/3 Equity: Equity can be defined as the equality one should receive in any given situation despite any demographics. Each person, under an circumstance, should be granted the same equality as everyone else despite their religion, economic background, sex, or sexual orientation (just to name a few demographics).

2/3 Diversity: Diversity is the much variation in any setting. Diversity can mean the differences in skin color, sexual orientation, beliefs, preferences, etc. in any situation. Now that i have done some more reading, i have also included those with disabilities into my definition for diversity. Diverstiy

2/10: Social Justice: Social justice refers to how one is treated or disciplined in society due to their their demographics or preferences. For example, a gay person may not have the same job opportunities of a richer straight white man because of homophobia in the American work force. Minorities (those of a different race, gays, etc). may not be allowed the same privileges as the typical White Americans. OR, minorities may not receive fair punishment in the legal system. Now that i have done some more reading about social justice, my viewpoint on this term is still similar. I think that social justice just goes beyond race and sexual orientation, though. it could be a lot of things

2/10: Sexual Orientation: Sexual orientation is the way that one refers to themselves as straight, lesbian/gay, etc. There are many forms of sexuality and sexual orientation is the way that one classifies themselves based on who they are attracted to. One thing i learned from the Tillet TED talk is that sexual orientation goes beyond feelings for the same sex; it also means struggles within society and yourself.

3/20: Race: Race is referring to the color of someones skin and the mannerisms that go along with some people. For instance, one race may have habits specific to them, while another race may have some idiosyncrasies totally different.

3/20: Racism: Racism is a social construction. Racism is something that society has created. Stereotypes exist because people associate certain factors with certain people.

3/20: Racist: A racist is someone who makes racial slurs, is unfair towards people that have a different skin than them, and promote hate crimes.

3/20: Institutionalized Racism:  This is a form of social racism. Institutionalized racism includes political institutions. This form of racism occurs in the common workplace or social setting by treating others differently based on their race.

3/20: Systemic racism: This form of racism is when an institution directly or indirectly discriminates a group of people because of their race. In addition, they limit their abilities and limit their rights.
