Our symbol is the eagle. It can fly as high as anything else can't climb.

The colors of our dorm are blue and bronze, and our dorm lounge is behind the enchanted doorknobs of Ravenclaw Tower.

The walls of the circular lounge have arched windows, so you can overlook the school grounds, forbidden forests, Quidditch Stadium, and gardens.

You can't see such a wonderful view in any other dormitory.

I don't mean to brag about it, but Ravenclaw is the dorm where the smartest wizards come in.

Our dorm founder, Rowena Ravenclaw, rated learning the most above all else, and so do we.

Unlike other dormitories that hide the entrance to the lounge, we don't need that.

The door to our dorm lounge is very tall and on a winding staircase.

The door has no handle and an enchanted eagle-shaped bronze door hook.

You knock on the door and the doorknob will ask you a question. If you give the correct answer, you can come in.

In this simple way, no one has been able to enter our dorm except Ravenclaw for almost 1000 years.

Some freshmen are scared to answer the eagle's question, so don't worry.

Ravenclaw learn fast. You'll soon enjoy challenging the door.

It's not unusual for about 20 kids to stand outside the lounge door and find out the answers to the questions of the day together.

It's a great way to meet the other grades of Ravenclaw and learn from them.

It would be a bit annoying if you left your Quidditch practice uniform and had to go in quickly.

To be honest, I would advise you to check your bag three times to make sure you have everything you need before you leave our dorm lounge.

The other thing about Ravenclaw is that we are the most unique.

Some are even called nerds, but geniuses are often a little different from ordinary people.

And unlike other dormitories, we can wear whatever you want, trust what you want to believe, and say what you feel. We don't hate people who think otherwise!

Speaking of geeks, you'll like our dorm professor, Fleetwick.

People often underestimate him because he is very small.

(We think he's half a fairy's blood, but he's not rude enough to ask that.)

And he had a squeaky voice.

But Professor Fleetwick is the most brilliant and smart wizard in existence.

His lab door is always open for Ravenclaw students, and if you're nervous, the professor will pull a delicious mini cupcake out of the drawer and make you dance.

It's worth the nervousness to watch the cupcakes jive.

The Ravenclaw dormitory has a brilliant history.

The greatest wizard inventors and reformers are from our dormitories.

There's Perpetual Pancourt, who invented the lunar telescope, Ravel de Montmorency, the great pioneer of love potions, and Ignacia Worldsmith, who invented flugaru.

Among the magic ministers of Ravenclaw Churin is Millicent Wagner, who came to power on the day Harry Potter emerged from his curse and turned the whole of the UK into a wizard festival saying, 'I can't take away your right to party on a day like this.'

Also, there's the minister, Rocan McLair, who is a very smart wizard, but liked to communicate with smoke from the end of his cane.

Well, you said we have a lot of nerds in our dorm.

Actually, you know, the weirdo Yurik who used jellyfish like a hat in every wizard joke is from our dorm.

I'll tell you about my relationship with the other three dormitories.

Well, you've probably heard of Slytherin.

They're not all bad kids, but you'd better be careful until you get to know them or get close to them.

They cheat and do anything to win, especially in quidditch matches and exams.

Gryffindor kids are just fine. If I have to criticize you,

Gryffindor kids tend to show off and be tough.

They're much more impatient with you than we are with anyone else.

In fact, they're interested in levitation, they think of troll boogers as magical uses, or they're using eggs to make fun of Ravenclaw kids.

Gryffindor kids don't understand our intellectual curiosity.

We don't mind if you crack an egg in the corner of the lounge and record your prophecy day and night in the way the yolk drops.

Rather, there will be people trying to help you?

As for Hufflepuff... no one can say they're not nice. I can't deny that.

They're the kindest kids in school.

Let's just say you don't have to worry about competing against them during the exam period.

I think I'm almost done with it. Oh yes, the ghost of our dorm is a grey lady.

Other dorm kids think she never talks, but she talks to the Ravenclaw kids. She helps you if you get lost or forget something.

I'm sure you'll sleep at night. Our dorm is on the biggest tower. The four-columned bed covered with sky-blue silk and the sound of the wind grazing through the windows are soothing.

Once again, coming into Hogwarts' smartest, eccentric and interesting dorm. Good job!
