I put them in the order that i found them because i spent a lot of time trying to order them. I found that I couldn't pick what to put first. All of these things affected people, to say one was less tragic then another would be false. women had to live of small paychecks and their families suffered. Woodsworth was awesome for not encouraging recruitment but them he lost his position on the canadian welfare league. boy scouts and girl scouts had to raise money for something they didn't understand. No one had extra to spare so they didn't assist, they probably felt like they failed. Only a small number opposed the war, which resulted in thousands of young canadians to rest in flanders field. we had many more men to send but they couldn't go on grounds of conscience. The canadian patriotic fund was just a cool fact i saw. The ww1 was beginning of a time where people believed in what they wanted, people didn't follow the crowd and stood up for their opinions. which usually resulted in jail time but they were the believers. No wonder people were poor how do you spend 1 million dollars a day! those people could've been here making canada money instead.

Number one was the most important because we weren't the cause of the war yet we spent so much money on it. The British empire would’ve won the war if we helped or not. Everyone at home had to help out and keep Canada together without the men. Boys helped on farms for no or little food, families tried to consume less food, women donated their belongings to soldiers, consumed less energy by encouraging daylight savings, women left home to provide aid for the war, Boy Scouts set up camps along rivers so people couldn’t poison the water. War time is one of the only times our whole country worked together.
