What I found surprising about the text Hampshire school for wayward wizards is that temple grandin was the only person who actually cared for the animals. For example, the text states “ Temple loved them All and could ride better that anyone”. The text also states “ Temple could tell when a horse was starting to get nervous: a fearful horse swishes his\her tail, and the swishing becomes more rapid with mounting fear. But because Temple also noticed the same details the horses did—like bale of hay slightly out of place—she could make small changes th calm the animals fear before it turned into a panic”. This shows that Temple grandin was the only person who cared for the horses. This is what I found surprising in the text Hampshire school for wayward wizards.

One thing I found interesting is that why would you have a horse you can’t ride. In the text in paragraph 1it says “ Lady was hot-tempered, and her eyes were wild. Nobody could ride that horse, Tina Henegar, another schoolmate, remembered.” This is interesting to me because there is usually not a horse you can’t ride at a place or especially at a school.

One thing I found interesting was, that there were many horses for kids to ride. In the text it states, “ Teddy was gentle enough for the littlest kids. King was an old gray horse, so well-mannered that just about anyone could ride him.” I found this interesting because I’ve always wanted to experience how it would be like, to ride a horse.

I found it interesting that Temple Grandin did everything for the horses. She cleaned the stalls. And she also always refilled the troughs. I also found it interesting that Temple Grandin could ride the horse better than anyone else at the school. These actions show me that she was very fond of horses, and other animals, too. The horses didnt like change. Like if you gave them a blue shirt, in replacement with an orange one, the horse would go BESERK.

What I found surprising was that because temple loved horses that she got bad grades in school because she should of wanted to grow up and do something with horses. What I found interesting was that she knew alot about the horses at her school because at first she did not care for them and all 0f a sudden she loves them. What i found confusing was that she knew if she wore something new the horses would not recognize her. This is confusing because how does a horse know if they recognize a person by what they wear.
