1. Not Shirk

A servant who has resolved to always worship Him must abandon all forms of shirk.

2. Have piety (Taqwa)

Piety based on love arises from the worship that humans perform after experiencing the mercy and beauty of Allah SWT. Meanwhile, piety based on fear arises because people view worship as an obligation, not as a necessity.

3. Jihad in the way of Allah

Trying as hard as possible to achieve everything that Allah loves.

4. Fear, meaning fear of Allah.

Which means various forms of obedience; both by carrying out orders and avoiding prohibitions. Because that is how his life goals will be realized.

5. Avoid disobedience.

Worship has a strong purifying power so that it can be a shield from the influence of immorality, but this situation can only be controlled if the worship performed is of high quality.

KNOWLEDGE

]Knowing the meaning of prayer is a valid condition of prayer. A person should know which is fardhu, which is circumcision know the things that invalidate prayer, and know all the valid conditions of prayer. Therefore we must learn to have a perfect prayer.

PURIFY

There are 2 types of purification; 1. Clean from najis both on the body and the place of prayer. 2. Holy from small hadas and big hadas. Purify the small hadas by performing ablution and purify the large hadas by bathing the hadas.

CLOTHES

Clothing should be pure and cover the aurat. Take good clothes when praying so that we are reverent and if praying in a congregation in the mosque; we will not hurt others because of an unpleasant smell.

BE SURE TO BE ON TIME

People who want to pray must ensure they have entered the prayer time. The prayer of a person who doubts the arrival of the time is invalid even though the fact is that the time has already arrived. Not to mention praying before the time is up, it is clear that the prayer is invalid.

FACING THE QIBLAH

Know the direction of the qibla even with a chant. Having a compass is good. For people on a vehicle when they want to say takbir, it is only required to face the Qibla. After that, the prayer follows the direction of travel of the vehicle.

NIAT BEFORE PRAYER

A person who wants to pray must be intentional, the place is in the heart, when takbiratul ihram, there is qosad, ta'rudh, ta'yin (for Fardhu prayer) and understand the meaning.

How to be khusyu' in prayer:

Understanding Each Prayer Recitation

We are encouraged to learn and appreciate every act and recitation in prayer because this will help us to be solemn in prayer. How useless it would be if we just pray without seriousness and don't even understand anything that is read during prayer.

Pray Calmly And Not In A Hurry

The conduct of prayer such as not having tamakninah between bowing and prostrating and hurrying is forbidden by Allah SAW.

Those who are devoted in prayer will be promoted and will be blessed in this world and in the hereafter and will be able to feel the sweetness of worship. The solemn values that radiate in a person can be seen through the calmness of the heart and noble soul. A person whose heart is lost in prayer, then the blessing of reverence is lost.

In addition, devotion in prayer can give birth to the nature of gratitude in oneself. That is, they are always grateful for the infinite grace and grace by worshiping Him. With the existence of this trait, once will avoid mazmumah traits such as greed, and envy.

A solemn prayer makes a person always remember his identity as a servant of God. He will never feel himself as a master let alone a "god" in his life. Indirectly, a person will always be filled with the qualities of servitude in himself such as ignorance, contempt, shame, weakness, and other qualities that reveal a lack of self when faced with God.
