This has been proven to cause us to land less job interviews, be removed from schools and fired from our place of work because of the belief that straight hair is more appealing to the eye and professional.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Professional appearance when it comes to hair is an opinion usually stemming towards a group of people who can related to liking one thing and disliking the others. Your hair isn’t doing the job, the person is however its more likely that a woman with a slick back bun or a middle part with straight hair who is less qualified will get a job over a woman of color with an Afro, or dreadlocs or braids.</p><p> Taking away the styles of our hair is like suppressing our ancestry and not letting us express out past and future.</p>]]></description>
