Describe how this activity could connect to how we interpret perspectives?
Can a perspective be wrong?
Why is it hard to play Devil's Advocate?

1. This activity can connect us to the actual event because it had us look at a subject we would not have to normally deal along with looking at other peoples views on the same subject, and that could change our own view of the subject. We might not know what it is actually like to be in that situation, but we do get a glimpse of what it is like, and that can help us connect to other peoples views on the subject.

2. I don't believe a perspective can be wrong because it is ones own opinion or view on something, which can't be altered, unless someone persuades them it is wrong to think or see someone or something in that way. However, a certain perspective or angle you see a certain event from can be wrong, as you might be blind as to what actually happened based on the angle you see it from.

3. It is difficult to play Devil's Advocate because the opinion you have could agree with what that person is saying, but when you play Devil's Advocate you are forced to see how someone might disagree with that opinion, and it can be hard because you might agree with every point that person makes, and its difficult to point out the points that someone could disagree with, only because you agree with them.

1. This activity let a group of two to three people try to connect the quotes to what they think it means.
2. A perspective can be wrong because not everyone has the same opinion, like if someone were to have that they agree with what they think the quote means someone else could have a different perspective and disagree.
3. It is hard to play devils advocate because not many people knew what that phrase meant. Even if they did some could not find a way to disagree with what it says because they know what they think is right and cant do anything to play.

1) This activity connects to how we interpret perspectives because it made us look at someone else's perspective in both a positive and negative way. It also had us compare two different perspectives we were not biased towards.

2) A perspective can not be wrong because a perspective is how someone views something themselves. It is there own way at looking at something, others may disagree but the way someone sees something is never wrong.

3) It is hard to play Devil's Advocate because if you do agree with someone but have to disagree you have to look at it in a whole new light. Sometimes its hard to change you perspective on something you might not agree with, so looking at it in a different way may become challenging.

1. This activity can connect to how we interpret perspectives because it makes us think about different quotes and information relating to the text in another P.O.V and helps us compare and analyze it to our own response. Lastly it also helps us get a different view on what we see before us.

2. A perspective cannot be wrong. You are able to disagree with it but in the end our perspective is just our opinion on how we view things, we all have different P.O.V's so it would make sense for us to agree and disagree on many things we say or believe.

3. It is hard to play Devils Advocate because most of the time, or at least some of the time, you agree with that persons perspective/response, so it makes it hard to disagree with it since you yourself don't know what information to hold against it. But in a way its kind of like being on a debate team, a good debater knows how to argue both sides, which most of the times it falls hard upon us to do that.

1. This activity can connect how we interpret perspectives because, for instance, when we played devil's advocate, we were able to display the differences we had in opinions through disagreeance.

2. I believe that yes, a perspective can be wrong because it may differ from what is actually going on, for instance if a fight broke out in a lunchroom or a cafeteria, one of the fighters would've had the perspective of actually being in the fight, and a person at the edge of the fighting space would've had a better view of the the fight so that they could have a more detailed perspective than a person at the back of the room -and subsequently at the back of the crowd- would've had the perspective of only hearing the fight instead of actually being involved.

3. Playing Devil's Advocate is harder than one might think because often times a crowd of people may have the same opinion on something and may not know what they had to hold against it (because they agree), or the people who do have a differing opinion don't know how to debate what they disagree with, at least, not very well.

1) This activity could connect to how we interpret perspective because it showed how each and every one of use had a different interpretation of how we thought another persons explanation could convey something similar to the quote they were assigned to elaborate on.

2) A perspective cannot be wrong because it is what you interpret the text to convey. It is your opinion, and an opinion cannot be wrong if it what you think it means.

3) I think it is hard to play Devil Advocate when the explanation that you read is something you really agree with, and then you have to find one little thing that they say that you have to change or feels needs to be reworded

1. This activity can connect how we interpret perspectives because now you can see other peoples point of view and how they view your explanations.
2.A perspective can't be wrong since it is a person's opinion and what they are thinking so it can't be wrong.
3. It is hard to play devils advocate because all the perspective is correct and you will agree with what they are saying so it is hard to find what to disagree on.

1) This activity helps us to see each other views and understand everyone's thinking.

2) Some people may have different thoughts than you do but that doesn't mean that they are wrong. Everyone has different opinions and views on what may have happened but there is also some sort of thinking or reason behind what they said.

3) In my opinion, it is very hard to play Devils Advocate because you may very strongly agree with someones perspective and its very hard to look at the other side of the story when you are so confident with the one you had before. This is very tough to do if you are stubborn and don't like to think there could be more than one right answer. This is a challenging activity but also very interesting to see how some people may think so differently than you.

1)This activity can help us understand that the same thing can be seen very different just because of your perspective and background.
2)A perspective can be wrong because what's right is right. Example: If someone attacks someone else because they are cheating makes the attacker's perspective wrong.
3) It is hard to play Devil's Advocate because it isn't the perspective you are introduced to, in fact it is the exact opposite perspective you are introduced to.
