A fake Amazon website appeared online, tricking people into entering their personal information. The site had a very similar design to the real Amazon website, but the URL was slightly different-such as "amazn.com" instead of "amazon.com." People who visited this site thought they were shopping on Amazon and provided credit card details, which were then stolen by the scammers.

Always double-check the URL for any website. If you see a small mistake like an extra letter or a missing letter in the domain (for example, "amazn" instead of amazon"), don't trust the site.
