The hall pass tab isn't showing up on student vue pages... I can create a pass for them on my computer, but how do I get them to see the tab on their account?

I was logged in for 4th period instead of 6th. So make sure you go back to the seating chart for the class you want.

When selecting a kid could it show how many passes they have already requested/had today?

Could it say on the tile how many passes are available for that location prior to me even writing one? For example “Nurse: 2 passes available”

When it's near the end of the period, but not the last 10 minutes yet...it's not letting me assign a pass. There were 15 minutes left and I couldn't assign a pass. Another time it was 15 minutes left and I couldn't assign a pass to the counselor. I tried fiddling with the minutes and it still wouldn't do even a 2 minute pass.

I would like to be able to add students who are in line for my bathroom pass. I tried doing a "future pass" but it asks me to assign a specific time to start. I just want them in a waiting queue, and then later I could approve when they actually go. I know it could do this if they went to studentVUE and asked for a pass. But on my side I can't.

I'd like the ability to retroactively add in a pass to keep accurate data. Wifi went down and I let a student go. I want on the record they went. I can only see how to do a "future" pass (I tried entering a past time, didn't work).

Not seeing options for Music area bathrooms (or whatever you want to call them) just upper and lower A and B. Also not seeing PE hall water (our nearest filtered water option).

Could just be me but reading white text on a yellow background is hard! If the active passes for bathrooms could be changed to black text that would be groovy.

Is there a way for me to manage requests or set limits if I am not a teacher?

I had a student send in a request to my room as a test this morning, but I did not see anything on my end that a request had been made or an option to update the pass as going back to class.

It doesn't make sense that all teachers can see pending for the whole school. Potential to have passes inadvertently approved for another teachers class.

End Pass

When students end their pass on their end, it does not end on my end. I still have to end their pass for them. How do we fix this?

Retroactive comments

Is there a way to retroactively add comments for past passes? Like if a student comes back later than was requested but the pass has ended, can I go back and add a comment so that admin will be able to see?

Hi, quick question - if students are being called for speech/language therapy (a 30 minute session) - should their "pass" be for 5 minutes to get to speech? Or should it be 40 minutes to get to speech, participate, and then return to class?

I would like to be able to edit the time the student got back - sometimes they come in, but I'm up teaching, and can't get to my Synergy to click end the pass until later, or wifi is down...I'd like to be able to type in the time or total minutes they were gone. Sometimes they sneak back in quietly...

Too Close to End of Class

I keep getting messages that my passes are too close to the end of class, even if we have 15-20 mins left. Makes sense to cut off bathrooms 10 mins before the end but I feel like the system is cutting it off earlier. I also got one of these when writing a ticket to go see admin. Can we adjust the cut off times in the system so that this doesn't happen?

Is there a way to let guest teachers issue passes?

Hi! I don't see a "to where" that allows me to give a student a 40 minute pass to speech therapy. If I select 'admin office' the max time is 15minutes. And really it should probably be a 'specialist office' - we have a few for SLP/psych, etc. What do you think?

Is there a way we can get the pass page to always show the class that is currently happening not the one we are clicked into. When I'm putting in grades for another class and then click on the hall passes, it won't show me my current students until I go back out and make sure that I'm click on the class I'm currently teaching.

I wonder if it would be possible to have the hall pass interface look similar to the interface when writing a referral? So you can see all the kids in that class at once, click the kid, click the destination and time all on one screen instead of 4 different screens as it is now.
