Starting from the proposal phase, our group was confused about what topics we shall choose to write as an essay plus this was the first time we carried out meetings online, so there were minor difficulties in terms of channeling messages and ideas but fortunately, we able to keep the discussion active and came out a few opinions based on what we thought about MCO and Covid-19, then slowly sort out the ideas and categorize them into different topics. 

Gladly, on the first and second meeting, we supported each other’s idea and took the opportunity of every single potential idea that may lead to the title we were going to write by bouncing the ideas back and forth. Then, we came out with three titles and proposed to Ms Sze Ee during the tutorial. 

a) Should Covid-19 be referred to as Wuhan Virus’
b) Is Covid-19 bringing unity or distance among the community
c) Is social media bringing more positive or negative impact towards racism in this covid19 pandemic

This is one of the most difficult stages of the overall project as the points determine the overall quality of the paper. Some points we forwarded to Ms Sze Ee were irrelevant and ran out of topics, therefore, there were many adjustments and brainstorming to be carried out during this stage. But overall, it was beneficial and encouraged us to do more research on our topic.

We took longer time to think about the hook of the introduction paragraph and the thesis statement due the introduction should be very interesting to attract people to read our paper.
