Critical Perspective: this is the encouragement from a media producer to be critical, creative and active rather than being a passive thinker. This can describe factors by which we / they analyse media products. This means that we need to study and question on the impacts of different characteristics of a product to understand how the meaning is generated by a producer and received by a consumer.

Visual language and communication: this is shown by using images (images, photos or drawings) to communicate a message. This is an advantage adverts as it holds the attention of a viewer for a long period than text alone, images are more memorable. Too little text may confuse the reader / viewer of what the advert is showing or promoting.

Written language and communication: it is the usage of words to clearly communicate the meaning of something. They aid the understanding to visual advertisement to make the advert more clear and more easier for the target audience to understand on what the advert is about. Too much text may make the advert less memorable and boring towards the target audience.

Semiotics: it is the study of signs and symbols is an image or advert. The symbols create an language, this language describes the use of symbolism to communicate or to connote a meaning about something or ideas to the viewer.

Form and meaning: this is a form that refers to the visual representation and meaning that refers to what is communicated to and that it is understood by the viewer.

Purpose of the advert: this refers to the reason why the advert was made and the intended response / outcome of the viewers response to the advert and would it change the way they think out the topic of the advert. Advertising companies make adverts which could change the minds of the target audiences as well as other viewers and that would the advert change society in general.

2. Everything went well - had a really good day. I could improve on my editing skills on Photoshop as all of my adverts look the same, by using the burnt tools and the black and white feature tool.

3. I learnt about the different camera techniques, changing the shutter speed and also how to use the light adaptor of the lights and also the camera; meaning that I can take better pictures for my adverts.

4. I need to complete all of my other adverts on photoshop to make them all professional.

2. I completed all of my adverts, nothing can be improved as they are all professional, all of the skills that I have learnt have made me to create fanatic adverts which are very, very professional.

3. I learned new skills on Photoshop, the patch tool; this allowed me to remove an object whichn was affecting my image. If i get in any pickle, I asked Hannah for help.

4. I need to finish my evaluation from the HW set today and I will do this with the help of Hannah and my fellow colleagues. I will also complete a focus group based on my adverts to get valuable feedback from my friends.
