Look out for non-verbal cues in the tone of the speaker and body language.</p></li><li><p><strong>Give Feedback =</strong> Reflect back what you have heard by paraphrasing, seeking clarification and summarising what you have heard.</p></li><li><p><strong>Defer Judgement = </strong>Avoid interrupting, making assumptions or preparing a response while the other person is speaking.
