One interesting fact is that though Hitler was the fourth child,  he was the first of his siblings to live past infancy. The 3  siblings before him died as infants. He became Chancellor on January 30, 1933 and leader of Germany on August 19, 1934.  He would kill himself on April 30, 1945 in a bunker in Berlin, Germany. He did this because of a taking over Berlin by the Soviets.
