Kifuka is located just 300 km south from the equator, in a zone of tropical wet climate. The summer lasts here for whole year and thunderstorms are frequent throughout the whole year. Masses of humid air have travelled 1,700 km from the Atlantic ocean over the second largest rainforest of the world and finally they have reached the very first mountains: hills around Kifuka reach height up to 1 kilometre above the sea level.
As a result Kifuka experiences violent thunderstorms unprecedented anywhere else in the world: each square kilometre experiences approximately 158 lightning strikes per year – one lightning strike per 6,300 square metres. For comparison in Europe north from Alps density and frequency of lightning is 150 – 300 times lower.
World record of Kifuka was announced six – seven years ago and the research goes on since then. Wondermondo does not possess information whether Kifuka still holds the record.

1. Depression
Even though holidays such as Christmas give joy and warmth, some people experience depression and anxiety during the holiday season. As stated by the medical director of the Center for Bio Behavioral Sciences in Los Angeles and author of Contagious Emotions: Staying Well When Your Loved One Is Depressed (Atria, 1992), Dr. Ronald Podell.

There are two groups of humans who are very vulnerable to feeling sad during the holiday season. First, those who do not have close friends or family and feel alone and traced during the holidays. Second, those who feel worried and save stress from family visits that are not harmonious.

2. Heart attack
Cold weather increases the risk of a heart attack. That was based on a study published in August in the British Medical Journal.

British researchers found that every one degree celsius (1.8 degrees Fahrenheit) decreases the average daily temperature, and it increases the risk of a 2 percent heart attack. In other words, adding 200 heart attacks for every 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit decreases in temperature on certain days.

3. Stroke
Winter can worsen high blood pressure and cause complications such as heart failure and stroke. Based on research published in January in the Journal of Life Sciences.

"Changes in extreme temperatures from warm to cold can increase blood pressure and cause blood vessels to narrow," said the head of the Neurology study at Celsius Dr. Joseph Hanna.

The temperature change, he continued, causes an aneurysm, which is when the blood vessels stand out due to the weakening of the wall. In the brain it is very susceptible to rupture and immediately causes a stroke, which is when the shape of the blood vessels changes.

4. Seasonal Health Problems
This seasonal health disorder is one type of depression. Those with this disorder are not in good mood during the winter.

Usually, they tend to sleep and be lazy during the winter. The researcher concluded that the disorder originated from a failure to adapt to the environment. So says the psychology association in America (APA). To overcome this, health experts recommend using light therapy, highlight yourself with very bright light several times a day.

5. Influenza
In the northern hemisphere, humans always seem to get sick during the winter, from November to March. One reason is the existence of influenza viruses that survive. Where in the 2007 study found that influenza viruses survive in cold or cold / wet air.

Researchers from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York found that if humidity is low, around 20-30 percent is a good opportunity for influenza viruses to survive. Where, the virus is difficult to survive in 100 percent humidity.

6. High cholesterol
High cholesterol levels during winter and low during summer. Based on the results of a 2004 study.

7. Skin Disease

He rode his old vespa with his son, then parking it while telling about the history about that vespa. He said that it was an inheritance from his beloved father. The vespa was producted in 1968. Anies also used it when he's still in college, included to pick up Farhati Ganis, who has been his wife, now.
