How did you feel during the workshop?
I absolutely enjoyed the workshop, I had so much fun and had a lot of laughs.
What were your most uncomfortable moments? An uncomfortable moment for me was doing the name game when being in a circle and saying your name while doing a pattern eg clap, click, movement.
What were your most enjoyable moments? Most enjoyable moment for me was doing the post card and tableaux. I had fun working with Daniel, Oscar and the Tian. Made a lot of laughter during those two activities. The leaning tower post card was fun and doing Cinderella as our tableaux.
What did you discover about how you learnt in this workshop? I discovered that it is more hands on than book work and I also discovered within myself that I will really enjoy this class.
How might primary students learn in drama? I would believe that primary students will also learn more hands on than book work. They would also do a lot of group work for activities than individually as well.

can you reflect on yourself as a learner?
enthusiasm learner who likes to engage and participate. I like to learn and to be organize.

Can you gauge your reaction to this workshop, compared to the first?
I still really enjoy this unit, the more the weeks are going by the more confidence and opening I am within the group and to engage and participate even more. I'm opening up out of my shell.

what do you think is meant by the concept that students learn by symbolically representing their world through drama?
most students learn best by symbolics, it tends to register more in the brain and an easier way to remember and understand what they are learning. it also makes it more fun and entertaining for the students.

how does drama foster collaboration and cooperation?
by having the students engage and participate enthusiastically in the activities.

How do the practical activities and unit information inform your personal understanding of the use of dance as an expressive learning process through which educators can facilitate creativity in primary students?

By having the hands on experience helps with the practical activities helps to better understand the context of art that we learn in our lectures and the text book. It also help us to bring out our creative side because we can build on the demonstrations and activities and think out the box. The practical is like a stepping stone of allowing us to have that better understanding of art which will help us in the future with our own class and we will be able to facilitate creativity.
What has been the most important personal realisation in the last few weeks in this unit? That art isn't just about drawing and painting it also includes dancing, miming, movement etc. There's more to art than we will think and get told.
Why is it the most important? I find this is the most important because art is apart of our everyday life and it is a way that can help shape us into who are; for example, art can build on ones confidence and self esteem which has now shaped that person to be able to engage and communicate more with others. Art also help bring out that creative side of mind where we can come up with solutions which can be effective and outside the box. There are so many benefits that can come from art and having that realisation and understanding can help people be more successful in life and it is good for us teachers to implement art in our class; it'll be beneficial for our students.

I really liked the people that are in my art class, they are all so great and funny minus one person.
I know you'll want to know who it is and the person is Oscar, we were friends but that whole time he would insult me and put me down everyday but not only that he would pinch me all the time so it would hurt and he would leave bruises on me from the pinches. But he would also squeeze my knee where it hurts or my side. The last straw for me though, was one day I was hanging out with him outside of uni and he lifted his arm up and then as hard as he could karate chopped my stomach just out of the blue and that really hurt my stomach. So after that and with the continuous put downs and insults I stopped being mates with him.
