Stanislaus County Office of Education invites educators and educational support personnel to submit artwork for the Annual Art of the Educator Show. The purpose of the Art of the Educator show is to showcase the amazing visual arts talents of those working in education in Region 6. 

• Showcase: September 1-30, 2026.

• Art work will be on display at SCOE 1100 H Street, Modesto.

• Entry deadline: August 27, 2026 (make arrangements for artwork drop-off with Rachel Valenzuela, rvalenzuela@stancoe.org.

• New this year: People's Choice Award. This award will be awarded by audience vote.

Her ensembles have performed at multiple ACDA National Conventions and MENC and ACDA All-Eastern Conventions. Her men's a cappella group won three consecutive National Championships for Best of High School A Cappella. Bass conducted the 2009 ACDA All-National High School Honors Choir and numerous All-State Honors Choirs.

Her published works include Vocal Transformation, Where the Boys Are: Recruiting, Engaging and Maintaining Tenors and Basses, and her book Front-Loading Your Choral Rehearsal: Constructing for Success, all published by Hal Leonard.

The Clinic Opportunity

● Availability: Monday, February 8 – Wednesday, February 10 (during her visit to the area the week of February 4–10)

● Location: On-site, or via Zoom if easier — she comes directly to your rehearsal space, or works with you remotely

● Format: Fully customizable. Bring her in for whatever your program needs most — full rehearsal coaching, sectionals, vocal technique, sight-reading, honor choir/festival prep, or a masterclass

● Who it's for: Choral programs of every level — beginning through advanced, middle school through collegiate and community ensembles

● Fee: Flexible, depending on size and scope of the clinic — generally between $250–$500; exact fee is coordinated directly with her

● Remote option: Send a video/recording of your choir with scores for her feedback — no adjudication, just supportive input
