3 new things i learned: I learned why Ganesha has a elephant head. I also learned about the cycle of life in hinduism. People who believe in Hinduism do not go around telling people to change their religion into Hinduism.
2 important things: I learned that Hindu people believe that the world started with the sound aummmmm.... The most 3 important gods are Brahman, Vishnu and Shiva.
Similarity to Christian:
In Christianity there is a book called a bible which has god's word in it and Hinduism also have a book which have god's word in it.
Questions:
Why do people who is hindu believe that the world started with the sound aum?
What is the snake god name( the snake Vishnu was sleeping on when the world started?

3. I learned that Hinduism believe in reincarnation which means that you are reborn with another figure. Hinduism also need to accomplish Dharma which means to give to poor people and being generous and Karma which means if we do bad things it will come back to us. After we accomplish that, we are among the Gods and we do not need to restart the whole process of incarnation again.

2. I learned that when the Earth began it started with the word AUM. These symbolized three main God which is Brahma which is the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer. The scriptures says that it is like the cycle of life there is the beginning and the ending and after that there will be another incarnation. Hindu people also do not eat beef cause the Lord shiva has a cow and Shiva has 3 three eyes. If he is mad his third eye will open and he will destroy that is why Hindu people won't eat beef. To calm him down people will put a dot on their forehead to represent the third eye of Shiva.

3. Christianity and Hinduism could be alike for example the Bible is the scripture of Christianity, Hinduism has four scriptures that tells what happened in the past such as how did the world began

Questions: Is the word AUM only for meditation?

Who wrote the scriptures of Hinduism

3 new things that I've learned:

1. The world started with the word 'AUM'. If you're Hinduism, you say this when A means the creation, U means the life going on, and M stands for the destroyer.

2. There are 3 main Gods in Hinduism. the first is the creator with the power of wisdom, and his name is Brahma. Brahma has 4 arms and 4 heads because he have to control things happening in the world. The second God is Vishnu, who is the preserver. He is one of the strongest god because he is a supreme being, which means that his power have no limit. the third God is Shiva, the destroyer. Shiva live alone in a mountain because he is easy to get angry, and when his very angry, his third eye on his forehead opens, and it destroys everything.

3. Hinduism believe that there is afterlife. They believe in karma, which means that they think that if you do bad things in your life, you will get something bad at your life after the life that you are living in. when you accomplish karma and dharma, you will be part of the Gods.

2 important thingsI've realised:

1. The first thing I realised is that there are more then 200 gods including demigods. Demigods are mostly half human and half god or god's sons.

2. The second thing I realised is that the destroyer Shiva rides on a cow and that is why Hindu people are not aloud to eat beef. They are not aloud to eat beef because Shiva might be angry and start to destroy stuff.

1 similarity with Christianity

In Christianity, they believe that when you're dead, yo will go to hell if you do bad things and heaven if you do good things. In Hinduism, if you do bad things you will have an unlucky afterlife, and you will get to be part of the Gods.

           Questions

-What is the name of the snake that Vishnu was riding on?

-Why is the God of the destruction (Siva) not destroying the world if he have power to do it?

-Is it random to be something else in your afterlife?

I have learned that there will be a dharma karma and then when you have done both you will be one with the gods. In hinduism there is such thing as what you call reincarnation. There are three main gods brahma, Vishnu and shiva.

they have karma you get consequences of what you done. they believe that everything was not there and only Vishnu as the preserver was there.

one way they are similar to christianity are they have a "bible" that they read of the past.

They believed that aum sound is sound of the sun and aum represents the 3 gods. They believed in Karma so if you do good things, you will get good things and if you do bad things, one day you will get bad things also.

2. I reliezed Hinduism believed in someone has greater power to create the world. They also believed that their actions will have consiquence for the future. Every thoughts and attitudes that they made in earth will affect in the future.

3. I think the similarity with christianity is in christian there is stated " what we sow is what we reap ". It is almost the same with hinddu's who believed in Karma.

Questions!:

Why do their gods have pets such as cow and snake ?
Why do they believe their afterlife will be rotate?

1. In Hinduism there is a powerful word that is called Aum. This word is powerful because "A" means the beginning "U" means when our lives keep on going on and on "M" means when everything is going to be destroyed. A is Brahma the creator of everything, Vishnu the god that takes all the evil in earth and is the first person in earth. Last is Shiva the destroyer like in the end of the world. The reason why Hindu people cannot eat beef's because Shiva has a pet cow and if you eat beef shiva will get mad and will open his third eye and start destroying things that is in Earth. Brahma has 3 heads so he can see everything that is happening in Earth. Vishnu is blue because he takes all evil in earth inside him.

2. I learned that the Hinduism people believed that our lives are going to go on and on until we are one with the gods. You will have to pass karma and dharma to be be one with the gods in Hinduism.

3. I learned that shiva has a son named Ganesha. He is shiva's son that is made by clay by shiva's wife. One day shiva's wife told Ganesha to guard the house then shiva came and Ganesha didn't knew who he was at first so Ganesha picked up a stick and hit shiva and shiva said " how dare you" and then shiva's wife was mad and shiva quickly went to the forest get an elephants head and replaced it. Now Ganesha is one of the most important god because he is the god of fortune or luck.

1. I realized that there are 200 gods in hinduism
2. I just realized why the Hindu people don't eat beef,

3. The Hindu people also have 4 books like the Bible. Hindu gods also take sins in earth just like what Jesus did.
What was vishnu's snake's name?
Who started Hinduism or who start spreading the word of Hinduism

I have learned ( to mach the questions) that there are 3 main gods in hinduisam are Vishnu brumha and shiva. I also learned that brumha created the world from the petels of his lotus.I also know that A means creation, U means the universal life, and M means destruction.I realized that om is spelled AUM.I have also realized that hinduisam has 200+ gods, I am shure that 197 of them are demi gods. hinduisam is similar to chistanity because they both surrender to god.
