This shot was also taken in a birds eye view so that the eternity of the oyster could be seen rather than just the side of it or most of it but not all of it. I personally liked this shot a lot because it was in this point of the trip that we learned a lot about the bay in such a short span of time, not to mention how crucial the oysters themselves ended up being for our Eco System. We also learned about how many oysters that used to be within the bay, there was actually so many that boats had to have the size of their keels reduced or they would sink from hitting the vast amount of oysters that sometimes stacked up to the point past water. On the hull and keel of the ships different types of sea creatures and underwater plant life attach themselves. They could be from the bay and end up in England to be invasive species or vise versa. There isn't much that we can do to stop spreading invasive species through this but thankfully they haven't affected our Eco system too crucially. Although there is a certain type of sea grass that has recently invaded the bay and are too thick to let crabs get through them, this can lead to them being cut off from resources that are crucial for their survival.]]> 2018-04-25 01:53:28 UTC https://padlet.com/ks842b/i63t5meyhxbb/wish/255073128 ks842b https://padlet.com/ks842b/i63t5meyhxbb/wish/255076097 This picture mostly appealed to me because it just looked really cool what she was doing with the boom. I actually regret not talking a video of her working with it because at one point she was pretty much on the mast of the ship while she was adjusting the boom with me and a few other people. This shot also highlights some of the harder work (from what I've sen so far) that they do on the ship. While this shot is a clear one I feel like the only thing it shows off, is perspective. I would've liked to do a little more with this shot but like previously stated I had to help adjust and pull down the boom, which to my surprise was also pretty fun and exciting.
