My journey to UBIC

I believe that each student remember the day they arrived at UBIC as a combination of happiness, enthusiasm, and their expectation of a new, fascinating life. I have been just allowed to experience these feelings and emotions, thanks to the University of Brighton International College, which welcomed me this autumn. While September arrived, the feeling of disbelief in my soul deepened, as I prepared to study formerly unexplored fields with new classmates and various lecturers. Almost a year has gone since that moment, or roughly ten months after my education started, during which time I was able to pick up a lot of impressions.

At the start the my first term, I joined in a three-month English language improvement course. When I arrived for my first session, I realised that my adult, responsible, and life of independence had begun. I am thankful to my English tutors Ms. Sharon, Mr. Jason, Mr. Joe, and Mr. Adam for helping me improve my academic English. As someone under the age of 18, I received support from the very start of my studies, and for that I am really thankful to the UBIC staff, who were all under the age of 18. I'd wish to express my gratitude Edit Blahut, whose spoke me an email regularly on Wednesdays to see whenever I had anything and always remained helpful. In addition to studying, there were numerous exciting events in which we were able to express ourselves, helping us to form relationships with the new team and learn a lot about the university. Furthermore, we attended Life and Career Skills activities, where we teamed together to develop a magazine on the topic of Vintage shops in Brighton, for which my team and I received an award.

During the second and third semesters, I started learning Chemistry, Biology, and Statistics. My goals were met, thanks to the lecturers' professionalism. It showed the fact that every one of them can immediately and clearly communicate new knowledge to students. Dr. Adam was always there for me when I needed help with chemistry, explaining things to me once more, which improved me a lot in my studies. Ms. Rebecca is one of my favourite professors; she constantly recommended me, despite the fact that biology was tough to me in the beginning, but after her individual classes, I got motivated studying and understanding biology more thoroughly. Ms. Katherine taught me statistics, and I started learning about it immediately, and it showed out that it was quite interesting. Thank you also to Amy, who helped me with the assignments. In the Extend Project Class, we learned how to write well, express at an academic level, and use acceptable platforms for different assignments.During these months, I also set up Badges, where teachers would look at and evaluate our work.

Every one of my classmates have really cheerful diverse personalities. I never imagined meeting so many extraordinary people all at once. The group we were in came out to be incredibly cooperative.

In conclusion, I'd want to state as my way of life has changed significantly for the better, which cannot help but pleasure myself. Of course, study at university is difficult, but I'm determined to succeed. I expect that there was will be many fascinating developments in the future.
