This is because 2 e-kiosks isn’t enough, especially when classes go to the library to do visits and borrow books. With more kiosks, a lot of time could be saved when borrowing and returning books, making it more convenient for students and teachers.

E- Next, I would suggest our school to include newspapers and magazines for students to read. Since the modern world is rapidly changing with hundreds and thousands of things occurring everyday, being updated with news can broaden us students’ views of the world, and keep us knowledgeable with current affairs, not just in Singapore, but internationally. 

E- Lastly, I think that it’d be nice if our school library engaged in games. For example, when I was in primary school, my school's library would encourage students to borrow books by giving the cards known as "Book Bugs". E: For example, students often use these study areas to prepare for exams or complete assignments, as they are designed to minimise distractions. The availability of individual desks, power outlets, and a silent atmosphere enhances productivity and focus.

The reason it is different from cafes and home environments is because libraries enforce silence, which many find that it is essential for effective studying. The presence of others studying nearby can also provide a sense of motivation and academic discipline.

L: In conclusion, the study corners strongly appeal to visitors by offering a peaceful, resourceful setting that supports academic and personal learning goals.

Firstly,  have amenities that can be added. For example, a water station can be added to provide convenience for the people studying or reading in the library  if they need a drink of water.  These will ensure comfort and convenience for them as they do not have to constantly move around to get things that they need since it is provided in the library.

Secondly, well lit display shelves can be added.  Popular, new and recommended books can be displayed in it.  This can encourage visitors of the library to pick up and try new books that they have not read before.   furthermore the shelves will make the library put look more put together and aesthetically pleasing.

Lastly,  air conditioning can be added to the library this is one way to optimize comfort for visitors of the library.   the aircon will make the library look more  attractive as most people would want to find a place to cool down in a very hot and humid day.

By adding these different features, the school library can be improved. And students will more regularly visit the library

Public libraries are also conveniently located and accessible, further supporting their reading habits.

L- Therefore, reading among older adults is not declining but it is being actively supported.

p- First of all, i think the school librarian can remind the student to stay quiet more frequently.

e- This is because, more than often, I’ve been seeing a lot of students shouting, talking or laughing out loud in the library. Personally, I think that it is quite inconsiderate, as there are many spaces in the school for students to socialise. These disturbance will cause other students who are trying to get their work done unable to focus.

e- For instance, I have seen a group of students in the library using their devices together while they talked about it together at a high volume. Another visitor sat beside them can only leave the library to concentrate better.

L:Therefore, I would suggest the librarian to help keeping the volume down, to create a more conducive environment for learning, which is what library is meant for.

P:Secondly, I would advise the school library to allow visitors to bring their bag into the library.

E:It is a strict rule in my school library to leave the school bag outside, and I believe it is largely because they want to prevent students leaving their bag on the chair, causing difficulty for other visitors to find a seat. However, I think that this is not an effective way, as students will have to keep going out from the library to get their stuff whenever they forgot to take something.Besides that, I’ve barely seen any students chose to sit beside someone they don’t know, even if the seats are not enough.

E:I believe that the students can be reminded to leave their bag on the floor,or be welcoming when someone want to take the unoccupied seat beside them.

L:Therefore, I think that students will be able to focus more if the library can allow them to bring their bags in, allowing them to have what they need by their side.

E- For example, board games like Monopoly or Risk can be put at the corner for students to enjoy together during their free periods such as recesses.

E- Such an improvement can allow students could improve social relations between one another. Students can bond and create long lasting memories, where they can look back and recall their secondary school experience.

L- Hence, I think that a board game corner will be a significant improvement to the school library.

P- Another suggestion I have to further improve the school library is to create a specialised area of students to vent and release their stress.

E- For example, soundproof pods could be added into the library where people can go to let their anger and stress out after studying for a prolonged period of time. Sometimes students may get a little to stress from their workload, which could take a toll on their mental well-being.

E- Adding such an improvement could allow students to relieve their stress and return to their work

L- Hence, I think that this improvement could definitely give an upgrade to my school library.

E1: In general, older people tend to have vision related issues which will result in them not being able to see and read clearly, discouraging them from reading.

E2: For example, grandparents have shortsightedness or long sightedness which makes it inconvenient for them to read as it is blurry.

L: thus, due to the inconvenience caused by the impaired eyesight, it will discourage them from reading which results in them not wanting to read.

P: However, due to their old age, they may be retired which grants them lot of free time.

E1: they can can spend this free time on reading which helps kill time for them when they are bored.

E2: For example, older people may have a bad habit of just staying at home, sometimes alone. By reading , they are not only entertained, but also learning.

L: thus, by having additional time, they may opt to read

P - Some develop a stronger curiosity about the world or seek personal growth and reflection.

E - Most elderly become more interested in world affairs, reading newspaper. Understanding what is happening around the world.

E - Elderly gains more free time when getting older as the things they can do is limiting. Reading is one of the activities that almost everyone can do.

L - Therefore, I think that elderly read more as they get older.
