This speaks to a value we have as part of our mission statement. We mentioned diversity is our greatest strength, although this may be seen as a means to check a box and is not full inclusive and active within our institution. </p></li><li><p>We are applying this when we discuss our programming generally. </p></li><li><p>We would include our leadership in this process to better understand their values in this current climate. Incorporate our partners and general community members (not just to check a box) but to reflect and listen to the values our community holds. This presents a new opportunity to rethink how we communicate beyond our program. </p></li></ol>]]></description>

         <title>Future Kind: Cultural Preservation for Indigenous Tribes</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Beginning to develop a program to support the indigenous communities we work with globally entitled “The Story of People”. </p><p><br></p><p>The idea is to work alongside them and provide resources and opportunities to amplify their voice and empower indigenous culture. </p><p><br></p><p>Dominant Narrative:</p><p>The project challenges the outdated narrative that "Indigenous cultures are disappearing or need to be "saved" by outsiders."  </p><p><br></p><p>Transformative Narrative:</p><p>Our project affirms that Indigenous cultures are vibrant, living, and self-determined, shaped by the people themselves and shared with the world on their terms. By integrating storytelling with visual art and sustainable platforms for expression and economic opportunity, <em>The Story of People</em> honors both heritage and the future.</p>]]></description>
