From my personal perspective, one of the most challenging parts of the project was designing the interactive assessment section. It required careful thought to create meaningful activities that could accurately measure students’ understanding of the topic. We had to consider the learning objectives, the level of difficulty, and how to make the activities both educational and engaging. Furthermore, producing the learning video also posed its own set of challenges. It took us several attempts to finalise the content, design the slides attractively, record the video properly, and edit it into a polished final product. The entire process demanded a lot of effort, time, and teamwork, but seeing the end product was very rewarding and gave us a great sense of accomplishment.

One of the key lessons I learned from using AI tools in educational content creation is the significant role they can play in enhancing the teaching and learning process. AI tools offer various features that make lessons more interesting and interactive, such as automatically generated quizzes, engaging visual content, and ready-made templates for lesson planning. This not only saves time for teachers but also allows them to focus more on delivering effective instruction. In addition, AI tools can help in personalising learning experiences and catering to different student needs, making the overall teaching process more efficient and impactful.

For future projects, I would suggest that we allocate more time for brainstorming and idea generation, especially when it comes to developing the assessment components. Having more time for group discussions could allow us to explore a wider range of creative ideas and ensure that the activities we design are both innovative and effective. Additionally, it would be helpful to receive some basic training or workshops on how to effectively use AI tools and video editing software at the start of the project. This would give all group members a stronger foundation and reduce the time spent learning through trial and error. Furthermore, having a clear timeline with specific milestones could help us stay organised and ensure that every phase of the project is completed on schedule without last-minute rush.

I searched everywhere for a solution. I turned to YouTube, Google, DeepSeek, and even asked ChatGPT multiple times. It reached a point where I felt like even ChatGPT might be tired of me constantly asking the same thing. After a while, I realized that the issue was not with my devices but with Canva itself. The platform simply did not support the audio file I had prepared.

To overcome this problem, I had to come up with an alternative approach. I decided to change the activity slightly. Instead of embedding the audio directly into Canva, I uploaded the AI-generated audio file to Google Drive. Then, I placed the Drive link into the Canva project. This meant that students would need to open the link separately to access the audio, rather than being able to listen to it directly on the website.

Although this wasn’t my original plan, I personally think it turned out to be a creative and effective solution. It added a small twist to the activity, and I felt proud of being able to adapt and find a way forward despite the technical setback.

Despite that, AI has been incredibly helpful. I frequently used ChatGPT and DeepSeek to help develop my content and to check whether it was suitable for students. These tools also introduced me to useful hacks and tricks I hadn’t known before especially for tools like Canva. For example, instead of uploading audio directly (which Canva sometimes doesn’t allow), I learned to upload the audio to Google Drive and insert the shareable link. This workaround made the platform much more flexible and gave me creative control even with its limitations.

When it came to producing audio, I discovered ElevenLabs, and I absolutely loved it. It’s free to use and surprisingly beginner-friendly. The best part is how natural and human-like the AI voices sound. It felt like the voices had actual personality, which made my educational content more engaging and enjoyable for students.

For visual content, I used Canva’s Magic Media feature quite a lot. It’s easy to use, but it does require you to be very descriptive when prompting the AI. If the description is too vague, you won’t get the image you envisioned. That taught me the importance of clarity and precision when working with AI image generators.

Overall, using AI in content creation has been both fun and enlightening. I learned how to navigate challenges, discover new tools, and adapt creatively. While some tools come with limitations, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. With the right knowledge and creativity, AI can truly enhance educational content in powerful and exciting ways.
