He later worked as an analyst at Ryder Systems and principal and director of research at Sturdivant & Company. Mr. Outlaw founded BOE Securities, Inc., in 1997, and has since served as CEO of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based investment research firm. Opposing the traditional earnings-per-share approach utilized by the majority of sell-side firms, Mr. Outlaw Jr offers a unique, value-based perspective on stocks to institutional investors. Under his leadership, the firm has grown from a two-employee operation to a multinational investment research boutique catering to some of the world's largest institutional money managers. Complementing more than three decades of finance experience, Mr. Outlaw Jr holds Series 7, 24, 27, 63, and 87 FINRA licenses. He's also a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity and National Black MBA Association.
