  • Our first in-person class of the week is currently taking place. Our lecturer, Sir Mohd Asmadzy Bin Ahmad Basra, taught the class. Our lecturer introduced the assignment we will complete for the current semester during this first lesson. The instructor also talked about EES in the future during class. Additionally, our instructor explained what ethics are. Ethics is a philosophy of the values you hold dear or that you base your beliefs on in terms of what is right or bad. At the same time, the speaker also talked about the preliminary and final exams for this subject in this first class. 
  • Additionally, our speaker reiterated the topic of ethics. Because ethics is the most fundamental and crucial concept we have, it is something he constantly reiterates. Our lecturer has given us information regarding ethics in sport based on our subject, which is ethics in sport. According to sports ethics, "no harm" will be tolerated. A person's morals are those intentions, motives, and behaviours that are good rather than negative. The moral principles convey to each individual the relative value they have to engaging in good deeds.

WEEK 2 SPORT POLICY AND SPORT ADMINISTRATION IN MALAYSIA
  • The instructor will discuss the chapters' learning objectives throughout this class. There are several laws and policies linked to sports, including the national sport policy, the RMK-related to sports, the national sport convention in Langkawi, the sport development act, the Malaysia National Education Philosophy, and sports tourism. This lesson has taught us about what constitutes policy. The terms and rules for well-organized data are called policies. How come? It aims to increase efficiency and efficacy while lowering management costs, solving issues, and laying the groundwork for the National Administration. The government creates policies that have an objective, implementation tactics, and evaluation of their efficacy. For example, RMK 7 focus on National Sports Institute was established to conduct courses in sports sciences and sports medicine. Sport programmes was organized to promote a healthy lifestyle ‘Sports for All’ and Formulation of Sports Development Act 1997.

WEEK 3 

  • This session continues the previous topic, which was Malaysian sport policies and sports administration. Our instructor gives us an overview of the project. The Kementerian Belia dan Sukan, on which the policy is founded, states that belia typically range in age from 18 to 40. Sport administration and policies are strategically planned. Included in this are job development, empowering governance, quality of life wellbeing, and youth empowerment. This is a make-up lesson from Sunday.
  • Chapter 1 of the 2009 National Sport Policy is now available. We have also made the ministry's past known. The Department of Social Welfare's Culture Division was established in 1953. The Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Youth and Sport took over the Culture Division in 1964. The Ministry of Youth and Sports was renamed the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports in 1972 after the establishment of the Culture Division. On 1987 saw the transfer of the culture department to the ministry of culture, arts, and tourism. Today, sports are once again referred to by its former name, the ministry of youth and sports.

  • The policy is a written statement. Policy is formulated by the goverment have objective, strategies for implementation and evaluation of their effectiveness.It exists as a result of political advice from a public source. We have two hours in this class, of which one hour is spent studying the policy and the other hour is spent debating it in class. We divide into two groups at this time and decide on policies related to sports.

WEEK 5 FRAMEWORK FOR MORAL REASONING 
  • Moral reasoning is a process in which ethical issues and problems are benchmarked against a moral standard, so that a moral judgement is made possible.
  • Ethics - Is rules, standards, codes or principles which 
    provide guidelines for morally right behaviour and truthfulness in specific situations.
  • Moral - Are the social, cultural and religious beliefs or values of an individuals or group which tells us what is right or wrong.
  • Values - Is something that we think is very important  and worthwhile. 
  • During this class we study about 3 perspectives necessary to moral reason include :
  • IMPARTIALITY - Treating everyone equally, listening to both sides of an argument without pre-judging the situation or showing favouritism. 
  • CONSISTENCY - To reason morally, we must also be logical and consistent. To be consistent when making moral decisions, past and present decisions must be taken account. 
  • REFLECTIVE - thinking is exercising careful judgement 
    in all moral and non-moral values.

WEEK 6 ONLINE TEST
  • At Ufuture, we are conducting an online test on this day. Which is why we must all show up for Test 1. Test 1's questions are broken down into 30 MCQs. The test will only last an hour.

WEEK 7 Intimidation, Competition & Sportsmanship

  • Intimidation as we known the act of intimidating someone, or the state of being intimidated. At the same time, to cause someone to be fearful, frightened. Example, in sport it is important tactic or method in order to win, get desired result. 
  • Purposeful or non-purposeful 
  • The purpose is to take opponent’s head out of the game. Intimidation challenges an athlete’s level of mental toughness.
  • This intimidation divide to 3 group is coach, player and external. Coach action that is intentionally done by coach, with purpose. It important to make others fear, motivates players. Player intentionally done by athletes to take the opponent’s mind out of the game. It important to could be psychological kind of intimidation. External factors that can cause intimidation. It may influence, affect the gameplay itself while actions of fans, administrators, parents, media.
