<title>Strength-based explores an individual&#39;s strength&#39;s , recognising capacities and focusing less on what a person cannot do . strengths based explores a persons interest and it gives opportunities for individuals to value themselves rather than seeing themselves as the problem. in cases where a service user is not positive about the progress they have made and feels negative about things, strength based was implemented to reassure a service about the achievement made in a foster care placement </title>

<title>Working alongside a mum and dad of three young children who were continuing to function and care for their children in adverse conditions. Our relationship grew over a four week period and they began to trust me. Through open and honest conversations, assessment and transparent practice I was able to support the parents to identify their strengths. This resulted in both parents recognising the positive changes they were achieving and allowed them to set small manageable tasks to bring about change in their lives and minimise risk.</title>
