A loud bang was heard. A lorry had collided with a car coming from the opposite direction. The car flipped to one side and hit another car which was going in the same direction whereas the lorry driver stopped in the middle of the road with him looking stunned and motionless for a few minutes. The driver of the car was stuck in his seat with the windscreen bent into him and groaning terribly in pain. There was a loud bang at a junction outside Dun Man Secondary School. It took place about 5.30 pm. It involved two vehicles, namely a motorcycle and a car. As the motorcycle was turning, the car behind the motorcycle drove in a high speed and hit the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was flung out of the motorcycle and found metres away from the wreckage. The paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead on the spot. The witnesses suspected that the driver could be intoxicated because his car was seen swerving to the left all of a sudden. There was a high chance that he could be on drugs. The driver was taken to the hospital. He suffered a severed arm and was still in critical condition.
