The backdrop has acres and acres of fields and railway track at the end of the fields. The lake/pond is right beside the fields so that water is readily available.

The village headman sits at the centre of an old banyan tree with a turban on his head. His council men sit beside him wearing white dhothis. The women in the village are seen carrying fodder on their heads, tied like a bun, to their homes. Children are seen jumping and playing in the village lake, where the water is so clear that you would be able to see through them clearly.
The main practices which I would like to see in my village are :

--> Implementation of sharing of  resources : Each individual farmer may benefit from turning on the pump to irrigate his/her land, but on a larger scale, it contributes to declining groundwater levels and electricity blackouts.

--> Sharing of water amongst farmers : local irrigation communities could monitor the state of infrastructure and water use and adapt their watering scheme or cropping patterns to changes in water availability.

Villages are indeed a beautiful place. I see villages as a pollution free, peaceful environment. There is a lot of room for development in villages .Villages lack some of the basic facilities. I would like to implement the following in my village: 
1.Proper and continuous supply of fresh water. 
2.Proper roads 
3.Methods to improve agricultural production by using technology in a cost effective and easily accessible manner. 
4.Cost effective health care.

Things which I would like to implement in village for improvement:
1. Proper irrigation system
2. Good knowledge about the crops and the market price for the crops.
3. Rain water harvesting system.
4. Renewable energy like windmills , solar panels, etc..
5. Basic needs for the people.
