It has a population of almost 3 million people, and a high HDI of 0,732.<br><br>Jamaica is a british Commonwealth realm, with Elizabeth II as its queen. The island is a parliamentary constitutional monarchy with the Parliament of Jamaica, a bicameral house formed by the senate, with indicated representatives, and the House of Representatives, wich are elected by the citizens.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

When Colombo arrived, they registered the existance of more than 200 villages.<br><br>Jamaica was first colonized by Spain, since the 16th century to the second half of the 17th. After that, it passed to british domain, until the second half of 20th century, when it became officially independent. Although it had the independence delcared, it remais still a british influence zone, as part of the Commonwealth.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
