Escape From East Berlin tells the story of two brave and daring attempts to cross the Berlin Wall. This book explains in detail how the characters managed even to do this act and how they got away with it. Also, this book demonstrates all of the characters' emotions during this time to all of its readers. Escape From East Berlin gives the perspectives of two different people going through the same thing. As perspectives switch throughout the book, they both find an answer/solution to their problems.

Both the books, Uprising and, Escape from East Berlin have multiple points of view. They have many of the same essential questions. They are told from different perspectives throughout the book. The plot and time frame are different. Uprising details three female characters' journeys in the early twentieth century. They live in NYC and experience the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fires; whereas, in Escape from East Berlin, two characters of the opposite sex live in East Berlin, and they escape to West Berlin. They are also based on real-world events.

Choose a scene from the book that reveals accurate historical details. Did history unfold accurately in your book?
- "Even from this height, its hard to take in all the sections of the wall at once" (Marino 55). This part of the book the character is explaining how the wall is huge and goes on for miles, its so big that he cant take the whole thing in at once. According to the article, the wall was 9 miles long and 13 feet high. This shows that the Book unfolded history correctly.

Taylor wrote this song about her mother who was diagnosed with cancer. Taylor expresses her love for her mother and the struggle with the feeling that she could lose the person you love at any moment. At the beginning of the song she says, ¨Desperate people find faith, so now I pray to Jesus too¨ This is one example of her perspective changing because she said she was not religious before but when she was put in this situation with her mother she found praying as a way of making her feel better and more hopeful of the situation. Taylor going through this has probably changed the way she looks at things and the way she cherishes her time with her loved ones.

In Taylor Swift's song "Don't You Ever Grow Up" her perspective on life changes when she thinks about her younger self in a new way. While most people forget about their childhood or can't wait for it to be over, Taylor looks at it a different way. She explains that everyone should cherish their childhood and make the most of it because it will be gone soon. These lyrics show how much she really cares about her childhood, "Take pictures in your mind of your childhood room memorize what it sounded like when your dad gets home Remember the footsteps, remember the words said and all your little brother's favorite songs I just realized everything I have is someday gonna be gone." These lyrics explain how Taylor believes everyone should cherish and remember their childhood as best at possible because it'll be gone in seconds.
