I am interested in digital currency. I got the knowledge of mining. One thing I like about is the presentation. It will be good if we already have the experience to try a little bit about bitcoin.

Despite being in PEC and not knowing much about Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin, I joined this session to enhance my knowledge. The Bitcoin book by Ei Maung was really insightful, I got to understand how Bitcoin works when I read this book. From attending this event, I learned the basics of Cryptocurrency and tech-related words. I enjoyed learning about fiat money and mining as well. One thing we might need to improve is the promotion, I guess, to attract more participants. That's all.

Bitcoin is not an unfamiliar word to me, as it has been a popular term among entrepreneurs and tech people. Thus, I have always wanted to dive deeper into this, but learning all of these complicated concepts requires much dedication (at least in my opinion!).

This session literally proved me wrong. It only took a few hours to briefly digest the topic, and with the help of the comprehensive reading material Lo-To-Shin and the discussions we had, I now understand the terms and concepts well.

One of my favorite things about today was summarizing Bitcoin mining. I probably wouldn’t be able to perform it, but the procedure of mining is pretty interesting. One way to improve the session would be to have more participants because these coffee + book sessions have been really insightful! (Small group discussions are lively and fun too, of course.)
